In an effort to re-discover the Band's work of the 90s, Marley suggested I check out WIAB, Seven Turns, and Shades of Two Worlds. Last night I was able to find WIAB at a local store. What an unexpected surprise! I must admit to having enjoyed the cd; the music being much better than I expected. I am eager to find the other two cds.

Thanks, Marley.

If you can find them, also get the two live discs with Warren and Woody, great work on the tunes.

Cheers

i remember getting Back Where It All Begins a few days after it came out (when was that? '92? '93?) anyway, i was like "Damn....this is really goddammed good!".

at that time i thought it was a 'comeback' album. duh.

I think WHERE IT ALL BEGINS is my favourite of the 3 studio albums of the 90's, by far. Not that I don't like the others, in fact I love those too, but I remember when WIAB came out, I was floored by it. I think "All Night Train" is a great opener for an album. There is just really strong material written there. And to think "Rocking Horse" was a REJECT from the album. I'd love to hear the version they recorded for then. - A great album.

WIAB is great. I love all that 90's stuff. Someone came up with a post awhile back, asking which live one (first or second set) we liked better. I had to listen to 'em both for about a week straight before I could post an answer
I also love Shades, I know some people say there is a weak track or two on that, but the core songs are so good, plus then they throw that great version of the old RJ delta blues tune on there which is just awesome.
