I heard Roger Waters came to watch the show last night - did anyone see him there?

On another note, Dreams last night and Saturday night have been rediculous. First, Stanley Clarke's bass solo on Saturday and then Clapton's guitar solo on Thursday, wow…

Very cool. Maybe he was trying to keep his guesting under wraps, though I'm having difficulty imagining it. I'll take him at his word then.

Now here is a legit question...

Waters certainly did not get his ticket(s) like most of the fans here on this site...so did he:

-pay $1,000 for his ticket?
-just show up and get let in for free?
-get some freebie from the band?

? Just curious...

Probably a comp from the band or promoter.

Roger couldn't get much higher on my admiration list, but I agree it's certainly cool that he's a fan.

I saw Roger as well... Pretty cool! Also hung with Sean Avery for a bit - he was rockin' out hard with a major smile on his face.

That's cool that Sean was there. He's a young guy and it's great to see the younger generation dig the Brothers.

You're kidding, right?
Just to humor you, here's how it went. Roger called Doyle who called Derek. So yes, option three. Got a comp from the band. They can do that. Kind of a professional courtesy sort of thing don't you know. 3 degrees to the ABB. lol

Clapton played guitar on Waters tour in the past, I would think he just called Eric.

I highly doubt he paid anything. He prob asked his mgmt to call the Dolans for a ticket, don't they own Radio City? Waters has played there or at the Garden at least...

Honestly even if he did pay $1000... that is equivalent to about $5 to him...
The guy was in Pink Floyd for crying out loud! Money is not an issue!

I'm guessing he didn't pay a penny and all of his drinks were on the house.

Roger is a close personal friend of Eric's. Eric toured with Roger back in 1984.

Yeah I saw him outside walking around with his finger in the air!

On ticket prices, sat next to a nice guy and his brother last night who paid $300 a piece for their Loge seats - well worth it I'd say for them. But next to them was a girl who paid $800 (unsure if it was pair or single), but she was sleeping in the 2nd set. Also was a guy sleeping/passed out in the row in front of us. I genuinely feel sorry for what those people missed even though they can only blame themselves for over doing the party aspect.
