Ditto Brock!

I can only imagine what it must have been like for the lucky souls seeing it live.

Of all the tunes and solos taken while EC was out, I thought Derek's on Little Wing was truely astonishing. Monuments should be erected, ships christened, avenues dedicated, and babies named after what he did. EC's first turn was fantastic, Warren seemed unsure of where to take it - but Derek was transcendent. That was one of the most amazing few minutes of music I've ever seen.

It was tremendous. But the highlight was WDLGTBSS and it was Warren who smoked his solo on that song. The whole show was absolutely incredible and Warren was just insane on Whipping Post.

It gets better tomorrow!!

Little Wing was my highlight. Out of this world!

Loved the whole show. EC was icing on the cake if you can believe that- damn fine icing. Gregg was spot on tonight, Louis rocked on keys as well. Whole 2nd set was awesome on top of a very solid 1st set. Believe it, EC and ABB lived up to the years of hype, but I know it can get better, hello Friday night!!!!

While others may not agree I thuoght Dreams was the highlight of the evening. Loved seeing EC work through that one. He was into it, the band was on fire a real treat indeed.
A very special evening....and a long time coming

Agree. EC's taking on Dreams was a major surprise. I appreciate him even more (if that's possible) for showing respect to the ABB catalog by learning this song. Well done EC!

Rumors are that Warren can now leave to fully concentrate on the Mule.
EC will take over duties with Derek. Jamoie will slowly be faded out and
EC will convince Phil Collins to give up his model train hobby to become a
full time member in the ABB. Susan will now be a permanent backup singer.
As Gregg gets older, Steve Winwood has agreed to take over keyboard duties.

You asked.

Lonomom.........great answer & volley.

love your sense of adventure.

but please? Phil Collins ?? is not the man for the seat across from Butch though.

I think Bekka and and The Asbury Horn Dudes are in the band too.

Have you ever heard Phil's drumming on the Brand X albums?? I do believe you'd change your mind if you did.

My respect and admiration grew for Mr Clapton on Dreams. Just the fact that he agreed to play the song and take the first solo in totally uncharted territory for him - regardless of how he played it I enjoyed it very much.

Last night was so awesome, but with these guys just when you think you've seen the best they pull another one out of the hat. If Eric plays again tonight I think they can set the bar yet another notch higher.
