On opening night (day), my buddy scored a ticket at the box office. While waiting, we heard the band going over 44 Blues around 4:30ish.

They drop tix at the box office for almost every show. He picked up tix on the 9th and 10th, great seats, orch row L and O, MINUS ticketmaster service charge. Tonight and tomorrow's shows will probably not be as easy.

It constantly amazes me that some people don't realize that some of the best tickets can be had by hittin' a venue's box office the day of the show, especially if you hit the box office early. It's the secret that ticket brokers/scalpers don't want the "general public" to know.

Your right. I had 2 tickets to GA&F at the Ridgefield playhouse near the end of 2008 and gave them away to clients. They were first row loge. I was pissed I gave them away.I really wanted to go, and called the box ofice for a single. At 5pm the night of the show someone turned in a 5th row orch. center!! I snagged it.There were 2 people in front of me when I went to get it who were debating whether to sell them back to the box office, and I said: "Just go to the show" and they did!!
