He was on fire cause he drank a vanilla latte during the show. (I know because I asked for it after the show and that was DEFINITELY a vanilla latte that I smelled in that Starbuck's cup.)

Gregg was the best he's been yet! In top vocal shape no doubt! I am just lovin' the clarity of the Moogis audio and video. You can hear Gregg so well. Every gasp and breath, growl and hum! Man this is superb!

Gregg has been singing and sounding great all run. He is a pleasure to observe and listen too. And last night Bonnie was great and her daughter and Susan were great too. They really brought the vocals on last night's second set. I only saw the second set.

Last nights show was another off-the-charts. And Gregg was a joy to hear and watch. He sounded SO GOOD!!! Just sang his heart out! And he was having a lot of fun, too - very animated, a lot of interaction with the audience and with the old friends he was sharing the stage with. Seemed like he was very comfortable - and maybe it was because of the family/old-friend atmosphere - and it really came through in the performance. Loved it!

Yeah, I was in a hurry when I started this thread at the set break, but you are all right. Not only was his singing and playing outstanding, but he was so relaxed and clearly enjoying the night and the guests. We often talk about a show being "Warren's or Derek's night", I'll call last night "Gregg's night!"

I have seen many versions of the Allman Brothers Band through the years. Last year at Wanee the Allmans played w/o Gregg. I realized then that he is by far the most important member of the band imho.

Really enjoyed last night's show. My daughter came in to my room and told me I was being to loud. I agree Gregg is lit up and sounding so smooth. Last night he took his time, hit the notes and brought me to tears. Was great to see him with old friends. I will be at the Beacon tonight. Just can't get enough.
