Anyone connecting to TV? I connected my laptop to the widescreen TV with an S-video cable and the vid feed looks really blotchy especially with all the darkness. Will a VGA connection help that?

The video was not the best last night, especially in the 1st set. They seemed to clear it up in the 2d set. Good timing, that!

I have tried both S cable and VGA and found that HDMI is the best. I would rate them that way also.

I don't have HDMI on my laptop. That would be nice.

Does your laptop (and more importantly, your TV) have a SVGA connection? Like the kind of jack you connect a monitor to a TV with? It's a much cleaner picture than S-Video.

Not sure why I wrote PCI. I meant SVGA. Maybe I made that up.

The connection I use from laptop to TV looks like this :

that's the connection I have. I'll have to try it. I should have a cable laying around somewhere.

Yeah, it's definitely the best I had to work with since my laptop or desktop don't have HDMI. My TV happens to have the jack in the back amongst Component, HDMI, and all the other inputs.

I bought a DVI to HDMI cord yesterday to watch the show last night and was happy. $60 at Best Buy. Just have to be sure your laptop has a DVI out.

The people who are going from their computer to their TV's, hows the picture for you? The picture is great on the Moogis player on my LCD TV, however when I go to 'full screen' there is some degradation. I'm using HDMI straight out of the laptop to the Tele. I tried messing around with the computer settings but nothing has presented itself. I understand that I'm not going to get an HD like feed when in full screen mode, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions that may help.

Love the Moogis though, thanks in advance to anyone who replies ...
