Gregg Allman to Perform as Support in Little Rock
We are pleased to announce that Gregg Allman will perform as support for DMB on Sep 29th at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock, AR.

We're getting a Robert Randolph & The Family Bank opender for DMB here in Phila in Sept. . . . I think I'm gonna have to go

That's the DMB show I'm getting in my little section of Middle Earth (also in September)- at the ballpark! I'll definitely be going.

I'm sure if Gregg had an objection, he wouldn't do it. While we might think it's sacrilegious for Gregg to be opening a show for DMB, Gregg IS a professional musician and performing is his bread and butter. Gotta get that bread while you can in this economy. Plus, DMB is always a good draw, so maybe the younger crowd who isn't already hip to Gregg will be by the time his set is over.

Agreed. DMB isn't my cup of tea either, but it's good business. Just wish this gig was closer to my neck of the woods.

Very very rarely does any opening act get full use of the PA.
