Thanks to Butch and company for Moogis! And thanks to my wife for hooking me up with it for my birthday! I moved from NYC to Buffalo last summer, but will return for the 23rd show. But to sit in my home and get to see these shows at these angles...amazing. Hopefully those who haven't had the opportunity will get one soon!

as for last night:

The band is very tight and the sound was great last night (even through my pedestrian computer speakers!) Greg sounds great on vocals too! He really brought it all night, but I specifically remember being impressed with Don't Keep me Wonderin'. There was a bit of "who's got this verse, or that solo?" with the guests and Greg had a couple of moments that he'd likely want back, but the expectations are just so high with these guys that it's easy to let those things stand out. No big deal really.

I've never been a huge Johnny Winter guy, but it was still cool to see him out there. It was kind of funny to see Warren say something to Derek and then Derek walked up and nudged Johnny to take the next solo.

My favorites from last night:
Standback
Les Brer in A Minor
Good Morning Little School Girl
Wasted Words
Don't Keep me Wonderin'
No One to Run With

Excellent show last night! And the whole band looked like they were having fun...especially Gregg. It always strikes me how gracious he is on stage, whether with the ABB or GA and Friends. And then there is Derek....my God...that kid (ok, so he's not a kid anymore) just keeps getting better and better....and he's sooooo good that you can't imagine him topping himself!

My faves from last night:

Ain't Wasting Time
Don't Keep Me Wondering
One Way Out

I'm going on Saturday also. I just watched Wasted Words again and man, it was smokin'! I almost don't care what they play on saturday. It will be great I'm sure, if the last two shows were any indication.

<<<Los Lobos??>>>

Los Lobos jams. They do some credible versions of Greatful Dead and Allmans tunes in their shows. I thought that Hildago and Rosas added alot to the show last night and felt that Particularly Rosas (the smaller guy on the right end) pushed Derek to kick it up a notch.

I was hoping for a rousing version of "Bertha"!

None the less, last night's show was AWESOME!

Again, everyone on stage seem to be having a great time!

Greg killed it last night. The best I have heard him in 5 to 6 years.

I totally agree. And while his miscues and forgotten lyrics are well known and excusable, I would like to ask him how he could have forgotten where to come in on One Way Out. I mean he must have sung that one 10,000 times and it's always the same, back and forth licks between the guitarists and then a return to the main riff before the final verse. Still, it is incredible to hear Gregg have such strength and energy in his voice.
