Okay, boys and girls - we're on. If you followed Lefty's thread regarding "Tickets to help Tyler," you saw that we were considering holding a raffle for the two seats he has generously offered up to help the Seaman family with their medical and other expenses.

It's now a go.

and purchase as many raffle tickets as you like. Chances are $10.00 each. The concert tickets are for seats 22 and 24 in Row Q on the main floor, ABB at the Beacon Theatre, Thursday, March 19th.

I went to the site to buy a ticket, but I couldn't find any info on the site's security.
Please let me know about that. I always want to help someone in need, but I don't know who Tyler is and what medical problems he has, if it can be posted here. Thank you.

Hey Ruth. I assume by Deb's message that she'll fill you in on what's up, but as for as security - the first page - where no personal info of any kind is required - is just a gateway to get you to the PayPal site. I've used PayPal for about 7 years now and have never had a problem. Their reputation for security is rock-solid, as far as I'm aware. I will never receive any credit info from anyone - you pay PayPal, then they pay the "seller,"

yeah I'm totally cool with PayPal, having used them for years now myself. I already have an account which may be why it confused Ruthelane. It took me to my log in when I clicked on it.

Thank you for the info, Deb. Somehow, I wasn't aware of the Seaman's
tragic conditions.

Randy, I know you and I trust you completely. I'd trust you with cash,
much less a credit card.

I had a paypal account and used it for three years, but last year I closed it.
That's another story. Nothing to do with their security.

I'll send a money order from my bank, if that's okay. Somebody PM me an address and telephone number, required by bank. Also whose name goes on the MO.

And last, I will be in NYC on the 19th with no tickets, so I would like to have those
tickets.

For payment by a money order, why don't you contact Lefty for the exact info re: payment. Also, PM me with the # of chances you'll be purchasing, and I'll make sure you're entered the appropriate # of times.
