Most likely due to the speed of your Internet connection... does anyone know about Butch's post re the option to stream at high vs. low bandwidth?

Also ..What happened to the video of Vaylor and Astrid explaining how to hook it all up...I saved it and now it's gone off the moogis site?

I'm supposed to have a high speed connection.

assuming that you don't have a problem with your internet connection, try
rebooting your PC. This seemed to fix my picture freezing problems.

If you have any type of network traffic monitor (task manger on Vista will show network
traffic) check that and see if you are getting a steady stream.

Might be something simple, are your cookies enabled?

<edit>

I'm seriously getting ready to pound my head against the wall. Pulled the trigger & subscribed tonight only to find I'm having the same issues w/ the video freezing up.

Tried everything mentioned above, no luck. Thought there might be an issue w/ my internet service (Verizon) and when I tried to look into that found their site is down for maintenance.

Ok, I can accept that. Sent an e-mail to the moogis folks looking for suggestions and will check back w/ Verizon later.

What kills me is I dvr'ed Letterman for U2 again tonight. Went to watch it and guess what?

The picture keeps freezing up.

Moogis-Verizon-Comcast all out to get me.

I need lawyers, guns and money asap. The s**t has hit the fan

I think I've figured out my issue w/ the freezing video. I've been enjoying moogis all day, everything's working fine. My nephew came home a few minutes ago and went online. Sure enough the problem came back.

My assumption is that our DSL just can't carry the load. Already warned him that he's going to need to find some other way to spend his evenings starting Monday....

Hoping for the best.

I had this same problem. Are you using Internet Explorer? My problem was solved when I used Mozilla Firefox instead of IE. I would suggest trying that.

Sorry if I'm asking a question that has already been answered, but what kind of cord do I need to hook it up to the TV? An HDMI cable? if so, I think those are about $85.

Also, I'm a little concerned because I have high speed wireless at home. However, this weekend, we are having a Beacon viewing party at our beach house, where I have to plug the computer in, and I'm not sure about the bandwidth deal.

As you can tell, this is coming from someone who is not hi-tech. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Another dumb question: at the party house, its not dial-up. Does that mean it is high-speed and will be sufficient?

It is cable internet. However, I won't be able to test it out till I get down there on Thursday. Is it possible to have non-dial-up internet and not have Moogis work?
