sorry if this was covered before.....

1.from the time you sign up,how long does it take to become active?
2.how's the SOUND?(big to me!)
3.how's the picture quality?(secondary concern)

You can be active immediately. As to Qs 2 and 3, why not go over and view and hear for yourself on the sample video? The live broadcast will be going out in 1 meg v 500 kps as you will see now. The sample is taken from a DVD so Butch said the Beacon shows will look better. I think it's the greatest thing ever...

picture fine...sound is somewhat muddy but well enough...& i have no speakers beyond the computer speakers & that easily could mud up sound..but pretty darn good nonetheless & given it runs on a loop i can fit it in & see live when possible...& darn,reading more & more about how special this run should be....i'm VERY EXCITED & given the many tough bumps in life i really need this music this March!

The sound can be easily solved by getting a splitter from computer's headphone jack into L &R audio inputs on your receiver. $9 at Radio Shack. Video to TV, well, that's a book!

Sound on the video shows is pretty good, should be even better at 1MB.
The sound on the audio only shows is very good since the stream is audio only
at 500KB.

That's exactly what I did, and it sounds great through my stereo..I, too, can't wait..Monday can't come soon enough..Well at least in this instance..
