We'll be right back with Bob Seeger and Boston, and tonites rock block is BonJovi and REO Speedwagon, and our mini concert tonite is Phil Collins and Journey. Stay tuned for more Heart and Eagles coming up. Eccchhh I'd only play most of that to torture the Taliban.

The Classic Rock format ... the one that makes you want to hear Barry Mannifold! Almost!

Thank god for I-pods, CD changers and satellite radio! I rarely ever have to even hear terrestrial radio!

I never liked any of these back in the day, so why would I want to hear them again? XM it is.

we have had a decent one here in Buffalo ~ 97 Rock, since the 70's.... used to be awesome back in the day...now it's good for an occasional deep cut & some special slots throughout the day but I have pretty much given up on regular radio for the predictability! my ipod (programmed by me!) & internet radio have so much better music & variety!

I LOVE CLASSIC ROCK RADIO!

Where else can you hear almost every track off of Pink Floyd's second (and last) album Dark Side of the Moon?

You get to hear BOTH of Skynryd's hits on a regular basis, and just last week, I heard ALL FOUR of Jimi Hendrix's known recordings.

Meanwhile, local musicians can't even get arrested in their home towns!

Alright, some of 'em DO manage to get arrested ... but that's besides the point!

If I owned a station - local acts would get played regularly. Support local music - wherever you are!

When you look up the term "Classic Rock" in the Encyclopedia, there's a picture of Boston in the description.

Anyone from Indy remember this station and DJ?

Ramblin' Man! You'd think it's the only song the ABB ever recorded.

My favorite station is my iPod. Playlist of 6000 songs, commercial free, only what I like all day long.

I rarely listen to radio ... like to control my own music. There is a good local indie station, though, that I play if I do have radio on. The do a lot of blues and jazz in addition to rock ... they play DTB.

But, Brock, I KNOW you were the same Heart concert I went to at UGA back in the 70s...but I'm guessing you didn't go for the music!

^Ok, I was there. Busted! But in my defense, it was just a few dollars. I should have excluded Heart; they were not bad at all.

not that i listen to it much (the signal is just a bit weak) - but there is a Rock station outta Charlotte that is actually pretty good. I think it's just "programmed" to be *very* random.

http://www.957theride.com/

they sort of understand the concept of "be as mellow as possible".

i think it may stream here: http://www.957theride.com/
