And I admit I chuckled a bit...

Happened to be down at the Jacksonville Landing today and there was some sort of rally for "anti Stimulus package" ... they poured tea into the St. Johns river, a symbolic Boston Tea Party, they used Arizona Tea...called out our Gov. Christ for being so pro stimulus package...like most governors I suspect.

Bless their hearts. Even a plethora of idiotic policies do not amount to high crimes or misdemeanors. And with that, you'd still have to convince the predominately Democratic house.
But I've been where they are not so long ago....

Funny guy. Maybe you can give us a coherent and well thought out reason why Obama should be impeached barely a month into his term?

Or better yet, identify the wasteful spending in the stimulus...not what you see Limbaugh and Hannity crying about. Im talking about money that doesnt need to be spent. Lets see what you got.

Perfect example is that dumbshiat that when called on it, couldnt name one piece of "pork" in the bill. He just heard that there was wasteful spending and like a good parrot, repeated that claim with nothing to support it.

It is a lot of fun watching this. Poor rudderless ship with no leadership or direction known as the Republican party. They can thank George W Bush.

The spendulus package "porkfest 2009" rolls on, and on, and on.

$2 billion earmark to re-start FutureGen, a near-zero emissions coal power plant in Illinois that the Department of Energy defunded last year because it said the project was inefficient.

A $246 million tax break for Hollywood movie producers to buy motion picture film.

$650 million for the digital television converter box coupon program.

$88 million for the Coast Guard to design a new polar icebreaker (arctic ship).

$448 million for constructing the Department of Homeland Security headquarters.

$248 million for furniture at the new Homeland Security headquarters.

$600 million to buy hybrid vehicles for federal employees.

$400 million for the Centers for Disease Control to screen and prevent STD's.

$1.4 billion for rural waste disposal programs.

$125 million for the Washington sewer system.

$150 million for Smithsonian museum facilities.

$1 billion for the 2010 Census, which has a projected cost overrun of $3 billion.

$75 million for "smoking cessation activities."

$200 million for public computer centers at community colleges.

$75 million for salaries of employees at the FBI.

$25 million for tribal alcohol and substance abuse reduction.

$500 million for flood reduction projects on the Mississippi River.

$10 million to inspect canals in urban areas.

$6 billion to turn federal buildings into "green" buildings.

$500 million for state and local fire stations.

$650 million for wildland fire management on forest service lands.

$1.2 billion for "youth activities," including youth summer job programs.

$88 million for renovating the headquarters of the Public Health Service.

$412 million for CDC buildings and property.

$500 million for building and repairing National Institutes of Health facilities in Bethesda, Maryland.

$160 million for "paid volunteers" at the Corporation for National and Community Service.

$5.5 million for "energy efficiency initiatives" at the Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration.

$850 million for Amtrak.

$100 million for reducing the hazard of lead-based paint.

$75 million to construct a "security training" facility for State Department Security officers when they can be trained at existing facilities of other agencies.

$110 million to the Farm Service Agency to upgrade computer systems.

$200 million in funding for the lease of alternative energy vehicles for use on military installations.

If my math is right that's $17,090,500, 000 in pork ... 17 BILLION

It's just your kids money, it's really no big deal. Surely the government knows how to spend our money better than us!

Gotta love the WP these days, so I start a thread on something that I thought was actually FUNNY and the attacks begin.

Let me be absolutely clear (I have heard Pres. Obama say that a time or two here in the last week....)...I am not actually saying I think Obama should be impeached, I am simply saying I saw the t shirt and I thought it was funny.

So, place your anti Bush thoughts back in your hip pocket, place your "what about the past 8 years" canned responses back, it's OK, the big package has passed, the debate is over, the money is being spent.

Just chill.

Some of you folks are so "us vs. them" it is chilling...would you prefer the WP all to your own?

No man, conservatives are welcome here. This would not be the first thread that did not go in the direction intended or desired by the originator! For myself, I found humor in the fact that the person you saw would actually go out in public and advocate impeachment because he disagreed with a mere policy of the President.

Mighty kind of you to say that and I enjoy your posts too. I wish there were more conservatives here to make the exchanges more interesting (just don't ask me to change my spots!).

Oh lord, "the list" again... that what? 1.8% of the proposed stimulus (Not the one that actually passed). Check with Malkin and maybe she will have an update for you.
