How can any hard core fan of the ABB (that is not making the trip up to NY) not be jacked up about the thought of catching 15 shows for $100? Granted times are a little tight/tough in some house holds but I think I could shave off $100 in expenses to make this happen. I don't even have it hooked up to my stereo and Flat screen TV (watching the videos on laptop and listening on the computer speakers) and I am freaking thrilled at the audio and video quality. A BIG FREAKING THANK YOU to Butch Trucks and all who have made this a reality! Anybody that is in a financial jam in the Atlanta area and just can't find the $100 in these crazy times, there is an OPEN invite for 15 nights of ABB pleasure in the Buzzy household. Just PM and come enjoy!

I got speakers on my PC. I don't have a flat screen TV yet (I DO have a flat screen monitor) and doubt I'll have one in time for The March run, but I'm subscribed until September, right? I could have one by then. Who knows? I may just buy me a bean bag chair and watch the shows on my monitor in full screen mode from my office.

I have a 22" monitor and a nice pair of Koss headphones.

I'll be rocking at the desktop for 15 nights.

And since the boys take Sunday & Wed. off, I won't miss a single episode of LOST.

I thought LOST was about you.

It's so great to have friends here.

I'm with you Tom....

Real inexpensive way to enjoy the band...

Now, I have to get rid of dial-up to see the shows

If you get rid of dial-up wont you lose access to your "girlfriend"?

I put up the money, now I am waiting for my son (ABB fan too) to do his part by hooking up to the big flat screen TV this weekend. Of course his friends will be over during the Beacon Run too. I just have to find the instructions to hook up laptop to the TV...!

I need some help please! So, I take it from what's been said here, that you can subscribe and then watch Moogis on your computer right? If you want to hook up your computer to your tv, what kind of cable, usb port or other do I need? Can I please have the "dumbed down" version to this question? My daughter would be hooking this up for me and she's a whiz on the computer but doesn't feel like reading through the other threads on the subject to find out what we need to buy and I'm electronically challenged.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Becky

I'm on Moogis now and watching the ABB video Charlotte, North Carolina, August 4, 2001. They are performing Midnight Rider. Cool early Derek footage. Video and audio are great! If you don't have Moogis, raid your garage and sell something you don't need on craigslist and subscribe today! I'm having ABB parties already! There are a few full length concert videos up now of older concerts and they are killer! Lotsa cool audio only shows as well.....Thanks Butch!

There is no universal answer. Encourage your daughter to read this 2 pp thread and have her look at your TV/computer for their specs.

Here is the cable or equivelent you will need from a PC to most audio receivers. From Audio out or headphones on your PC or laptop (sometimes green) to the Aux input of your audio receiver: http://www.manhattan-products.com/en-US/products/4904-stereo- to-rca-cable

People way overpay for hdmi cables all of the time. I pay like $15 for nice 10 footers. The same ones are like $79+ @ best buy, wally world, sh*t shack, etc. Don't get suckered into thinking the "Monster" cable will improve a hdmi signal. It's pure digital already. Check here for a nice 10 footer: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882754011&nm_mc=O TC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Audio+/+Video+Cables-_-IOGEAR-_-8275401 1

Now if you are talking about VGA-to-HDMI conversion, that can get expensive fast. It is analog-to-digital after all. Here is a link to an example: http://sewelldirect.com/articles/vga-to-hdmi.aspx

If you have a desktop PC with a decent video card, you can go also go with DVI-to-HDMI with a cheap cable like this: http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&q=10+foot+hd mi&cid=6325697294953235741&sa=title#ps-sellers I have my Media Center with a 8600GT connected to my Toshiba 42 LCD 1080P this way and it looks perfect. Better than the HD cable box.

If you have a older laptop or an older PC, you can use S-Video for video to your TV sometimes. Even 5-6 year old laptops usually have S-Video out. Older tv's usually have s-video in also. http://www.manhattan-products.com/en-US/products/426-s-video- cable

Hope this helps? Ask any questions you have. I'm pretty good at this stuff sometimes.
