Yesterday someone posted the rumor that Levon helm will be there opening night. Rolling Stone says Clapton 19,20.Bonnie Bramlett had the 12th on her web site till it was taken down. If Johnny Winter shows 9,10,23 or 24. Think the 24th most likely before he heads to Ct. If by some miracle Dickie shows it would have to be the last week. I;d guess the 26th (40th annniversary.) Since Lesh and Weiss are supposed to show the 27th and 28th. John Hammond is free the 16,17 & 19. looks like there is some solid speculation.

Helm isn't a rumor...Butch said in a recent interview that he would be there on the opening night of the Beacon run

I have no idea what this means.

As for what guests when, why do you need this info? All you need to know is where the theatre is and the date and time of your show. The surprise is part of the attraction.

Well in my case I want my husband to be surprised, but that would only work if I go there on the right night...
but I can only speak for myself.

Shakey is one of my favorites, but I have a hard time "hearing" his music integrating with the ABB.

Don't forget to add Aretha and Neil Young to the list, along with Sonny Landreth. Peter Frampton and Dave Mason have been at the last two Beacons.

Givens include Ron Holloway, Chuck Leavell, Susan Tedeschi, Jay Collins and Ravi Coltrane.

If Johnny Winter comes on the 24th ( I could live with that), there is no reason for him not to bring his little brother.

How about if Aretha joined Levon on the Weight opening night. They'd have to redo the Beacon again!!!

Is there any Neil Young connection to Duane or ABB that might indicate this is Possible? I'd love to see him there.
