It's 2009, and you've got a website built in the 90's that's rarely informative, and is about as pleasing to the eye as a European toilet. No offense to the webmasters, but this site gets way too much traffic from supportive fans to keep trotting out what you created so long ago. Throw us a bone!

Your no electronic trade policy is doing little but shooting yourself in the foot. Let me rephrase that -- it's complete horseshit. The Allman Brothers are my favorite band, but me screaming about how awesome they are these days to anyone who will listen isn't going to fill many seats. Music is at your fingertips this day, unless you want to listen to new Allman Bros. While your policy may have had some reasoning behind it a few years ago, it's only robbing you of potential fans who might discover the incredible music you're making these days.

don't mean this as any condemnation of any member of this band, but their management needs to get a **** ing clue. hell, put Bunky back in there. he ain't no spring chicken anymore, but he sure as hell knows the importance of getting a band's music in front of its listening public.

Well, I gotta say I have to agree about the website. This website is about 15 years out of date. It's jumbled and difficult to navigate and not pleasing to the eye at all. It needs a completely new design and has needed it for a long time.

If you are tired of the blue background go to your account and change to brushed metal or Duane

You would think Butch would be on board with digital trading since he created Moogis.

If you read anything Butch posted, he wants to build a community - a place for people to come and share the music and talk about it. That is one reason why they would rather have us trade shows (requires some personal contact) instead of going to a site and downloading it.

As far as this site, I much prefer the navigation here of the forums than Moogis or any of the other "newer" sites I have seen that have open forums.

I didn't see any of your ideas for fixing this place up - just general complaints. Not sure what you are trying to accomplish coming to the bands website to complain that they don't let you copy their music for free....... maybe you should read Butch's interview that is posted here that talks about how musicians will stop making music if it is just downloaded for free....

I understand some points. Not everyone goes directly to forums and the Home page here can stay the same for a long time. could make the site seem inactive.

Lots of features that are never used. Whether it be stories or journals. those types of things. Completely understandable as most people use the forum or GB.

I enjoy the site and love the people here. May not look the prettiest or be the easiest to handle at times but it is the best.

I have to agree about the uninformative thing. The only information I get from being a member of this site is advance notice of ticket sales, pre-sale passwords, e-mails about new merch, and the easily accessible opinions of many interesting opinionated music junkies. I want more.

Generally you get more flies with honey than vinegar

Nothing wrong with constructive criticism as well as suggestions. Once you add in profanity and insults most of what good you have to offer loses its credibility.

Ever think that maybe this website really is not in the band's top 20 priorities? To me, this site is one set up and run by fans (take with that the good and bad) that has the commerce link attached to it

I disagree that their "no electronic trade policy" is robbing them of potential fans, and even if it can be proven that it is (doubtful) the band has given the issue plently of thought and dismissed it. Check the tickets sales for the Beacon run and let me know if their management needs to get a "fu***** clue"

the thousands of fans who frequent this site and have like me for ten years or more obviously think that it's being run just fine. As someone else said, "go start your own site", Mr. Brilliant.

I always thought some things could be improved, especially the touring and setlists information. I usually have trouble finding setlists on here for some reason.

I do really enjoy the people here and the people that run this place though!

Go to calendar and pick the date of the show. If there was a show that day, it will say so. Click on it, and the setlist will be there (except for the shows in the future, of course.... )

What I don't understand is how their no electronic trading policy is shooting them in the foot??? They have sold every show from the last 2 tours (minus the beacon) and most of the shows from 05-06 and a bunch from 04... Plus the last couple years are/were available for download from munckmusic too.

So you're basically saying, "I don't want to pay money for anything"??? - I've been able to get MORE ABB music from last couple years than any other band I'm interested in. I don't know how you can think that it's been so hard to get a hold of their music.

And if you're saying music SHOULD be free... Let me ask you this: Can you go to work everyday and not get a paycheck? If you're willing to do that, I'll give you my music for free.
