Ok you got 18 and 20 but what section? if it is A it is far right if it is B it is center which is what i want and if C it is far left.. so what section you got is the question.

Mike, if the sale started yesterday then that's why the choices aren't as good. You could wait till the reg sale this Fri and see how you do then but you got to get on right when they go on sale! Good luck!

When I got tickets yesterday at 9:00, I didn't see an opportunity to throw back the tickets that were spit out on my first 'pull" Granted they were row 35, but they were in Section B and on the aisle..I would have liked to have been closer, but I think the first 20 rows or so are held for those that buy these special tickets from The Dead's web page that include tickets and passes to some sort of party side stage or something like that. I'm close to the soundboard, so I figure the sound will be optimum..And that's why I go, to "listen to the music play"..

Last time the bros played the gorge in 2004 seats were maybe 30% full on the floor (lots of folks passed on Robert Hunter and the ABB to drink and party in the parking lot/beer gardens) you couild walk easily to within 20' of stage and if you wanted to do the excuse me pardon during thing you could make it to the front.

Even during Dead set I made it to row two side stage and stood in front of Bill Walton for end of second set and enocre. Security is not tight at Gorge. As long as your on the floor. Roam if you want to. This will be a long day and folks drop out as the night goes on.

If you have never been to the gorge before be prepared for a good 2 beer party walk to the actual amphitheatre from the parking/camping areas.
