ello,

Wow I got this show done quick. I posted a new gallery Pete Seeger & Tony Trischka 2-15-09 Ridgewood, NJ. It was an afternoon with Pete Seeger & Tony Trischka joined in. Pete sang, spoke, played Banjo &12 string guitar. We sang rounds and had a really fun time. Pete will be 90 in May! In case you don't know he's an American icon, folk hero, 2x Grammy winner, Grammy lifetime achievement award recipient, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Kennedy Center Honoree, banjo innovator...On January 18, 2009, Seeger joined Bruce Springsteen, grandson Tao Rodríguez-Seeger, and the crowd in singing "This Land Is Your Land" in the finale of Barack Obama's Inaugural concert in Washington, D.C. Hope you enjoy the pictures. I have included some pictures in this post but you have to go to my website to check them all out.

Here is the link to my site http://www.fromtamerascamera.net I also have a myspace page http://www.myspace.com/fromtamerascamera I have too much new stuff coming to even mention all the different shows I have pictures from. But I can say I have more DTB, STB, Eric Krasno & more.
Please report any problems on the site to me.
Have a great day.
Peace, Tamera

Thanks so much for this. Pete Seeger is an American Treasure. I recently picked up
his "Peter Seeger at 89" CD. His autobiography, "WHERE HAVE ALL THE FLOWERS GONE:
A SINGER's STORIES, SONGS, SEEDS, ROBBERIES" is a wonderful read.
The DVD, Pete Seeger: The Power of Song, is a must-own for anyone who loves Pete.

Thanks for sharing these pics, Tamara. Pete Seger is an American icon and a great storyteller. Looks like this was a fun show and I'm glad you got a close-up of the banjo! Love it!

NEVER was a fan of Segers's.

I remember Libertarian David Boaz referring to Seger as : "Stalin's Songbird".

Yeah, that SOB has a lot of nerve singing about things like decent wages and clean air and water. No respect at all for American traditions like being beaten by hired thugs and dying of black lung. Commie b*****d.

Sat front row at Carnegie Hall last Thanksgiving weekend for Pete and Arlo Guthrie and there families. The stories are just as enjoyable as the music.

Pete is magic - he just exudes love, warmth and caring.

Thanks for the pictures!
