Release date is now spring.

This again is tentative.

It is an incredible DVD!!!
Will be quite interesting to see what some of the anti Clapton folks
here think of it. Especially "Voodoo Child".

Of course just in time for the quick US tour.

Ticket prices for the Izod Center in NJ are $65, $95 and $185

There are bootleg videos of all three nights from the NYC Bitch committee and the shows are indeed hot. Will the video be one complete night, or the "best of" from all three?

Prices are high, but not as bad as the MSG shows, which topped out at $254. Do you have any clues on pricing for Philly?

I was at the last show of the MSG run last February and Clapton was outstanding with Winwood. A lot of folks believe he needs to be pushed by other players so he plays better (Doesnt everone play better when they are inspired by another musician) but this showed that was not true. While Winwood joined Clapton on a few tunes, clatpton was the lone guitarist for the bulk of the show and Voodoo Chile was off the chart!!

II have a bootleg DVD that is quite well done. Alan, what/who is the NYC bitch committee? There's a joke in there somewhere I'm sure!

I was at that last MSG show and it was indeed hot. Double Trouble knocked me out. Clapton is underrated!

The first time I ever went to see Clapton was because he played with Derek and I was duly impressed, not just because of Clapton's playing, but also because of the way he shared the spotlight with all the players. My nirvanna was Voodoo Chile which was so good that I went and spent the money of a T-shirt- I never do that at shows.

The NYC bitch Commitee is a group of Japanese bootleggers working in the New York Area. they go and video shows, and sell the videos. Sooner or later someone gets hold of their work and releases it via the torrent sites. They usually have a splash screen that says NYC Bitch Committee

I wish they would give a more specific release date other than "Spring 2009".

They did try last year for UK,couldn't arrange it at the time.

So, never say never!!!

If tour goes as expected, anything is possible, including Japan & UK.

I just had to chime in on this. I caught the 2nd night and was so blown away. I felt like if I never saw another show, I'd be ok with it because I had just seen and experienced the ultimate!
