I've watched it for several seasons . Carla has been improving at the right time , but I don't see Stephan blowing it, detestable as he is. He is the only real chef in the bunch.

My wife "makes' me watch it. This season has been especially good. I wouldn't count Carla out yet.

I love this show. It's probably the only program I try to follow.

I hope Fabio wins and I really like Carla. Stephan has to really blow it to lose though.

I was sort of pulling for Josea since he's the only American guy in the running but he's sort of a whiner. And what's with Leah staying on longer than Jaimie ? Leah was so lame.

My other favorite part of the show is PADMA !!!

Tom Collicio's resturant - Grammarcy Tavern is probably my favorite eatery in NYC. I'm not sure if he's still running it but it really is worth every cent that you spend there. It's just awesome. Me and my wife try to go there at least once a year. Usually for our Anniversary. I don't really think it's over hyped compared to some famous places but if it is hyped up,it's one of the few places that lives up to the reputation.

Good show- like the concept and enjoy the participants but the judges annoy the hell out of me- not so much Caligula but I really can't stand pap-smere or whatever her name is.

Top Chef is one of my favorite shows. Right now I am pulling so hard for Carla to win. I'm very much over Hosea's constant diatribe about how he just wants to beat Stefan. Duh. It's a competition. And Stefan is wearing on my nerves. And Fabio, while entertaining, is starting to bug me. Although I was happy to see him win the other night.

I have surfed through it a couple times. I love to cook and probably should watch it more.

I enjoy this show and don't know anything about cooking. Tom Collicio's restaurant's are the Craft restaurant's these days. He's no longer affiliated with Gramercy Tavern. Craft is good but certainly no GT. I love sitting at the Tavern for a bite of a few drinks. Great people watching. In fact, I think now I may head there for lunch.
On a side note, I'm taking my girlfriend up to Blue Hill at Stone Farms for Valentines Day tomorrow which was where a recent episode took place. Going to spend the afternoon there and do a 5pm dinner, very excited to check this place out!!

I agree, this is one of the handful of shows that I do watch during the week. And it is the only "reality" show I have ever been able to stomach. I am happy with the current chefs left, especially since that apathetic b***h Leah was finally eliminated. I was beginning to wonder how she kept hanging on, because she always kept skirting by while better chefs who screwed up that one time were falling like flies. Anyway, great show, well produced and gives one a real appreciation for the culinary world.

Love Top Chef! It's the only reality TV I really make a point to watch and I've been watching since the beginning (although 1st season was caught via reruns - after that I was hooked ). Agree, Terri - Fabio is a hoot!!! Have got a few laugh-out-loud moments from his Fabio-isms this season. I'm pulling for Carla ... she seems to have hit her stride and I like her approach to cooking (she always remembers that magic ingredient - love ). Stephan has been consistently successful though (until this last episode, anyway).

Carla really grew on me. I wanted her out very early on.
Stefan looks like the one to beat.
Fabio's hilarious. The stuff that guy comes up with. Like this past week, no way was he gonna leave. He'd rather chop the finger off and sear it on the stove until it stopped bleeding. Really wacked out Euro fun.
Hosea's turned into a hosehead.

Leah needed to go.

Fabio is realy charming, and you just KNOW one of his phrases will be on the Season 5 T-shirt. I just like Carla more -- she warms my heart and makes me laugh.

Toby Young said this on his blog after the first episode he judged: 'Luckily, the remaining contestants in Top Chef seem like a pretty down-to-earth bunch - with the exception of Carla, obviously, who's from outer space. I love it when she just bursts out laughing, apropos of nothing. She has real charm, which is a fairly rare commodity in a chef."

Here's an interview with Carla.

Carla is just so cool. I would love to meet her and hang out with her. She is my favorite.

Fabio is very entertaining but everytime I hear that accent I think he learned it in an acting class and that he grew up in Queens or the Bronx....or Brooklyn, for that matter. He seems like a phony to me.

Speaking of Carla, did you notice in the New Orleans preview that she has a completely new hairstyle?

That's because they film the finale well after the rest of the season is finished.

Oh. My. God.

I don't know when I've ever been so invested in a TV show! Carla WON! Carla WON! Carla WON!

I was so worried when she had to shuck all those oysters. And a non-alcoholic drink in New Orleans? Come on!

The competition was SO stiff!

Gosh almighty darn. That was a GREAT episode!

I hated to see Fabio go, but Jeff beat him and he had to go also. I just hope Carla can keep up the good work and beat that cigarette-smoking Stefan.

Last year I loved Richard Blais -- he was my hometown boy. But Carla has just won my heart! When she was declared winner of the episode tonight, I thrust my arms in the air and yelled for joy! When she shed a tear talking about it, so did I.

I don't watch much television, but as far as I'm concerned Top Chef is wonderful entertainment.

Man, I think Stefan should of been sent packing but they decided to keep him instead of Fabio to build up the drama between him and Josea. At the end of the day though, the judges taste the food. Not the audience. So you really don't know. I think that's the genius of the show. It's about food, the viewer can't taste, yet you get really drawn into it.

I hope Carla takes it all. I think Stefan has the advantage in 3 course meal of their choice show down though. It's gonna be good.

Did anyone pick up on the back round music they played during the Mardi Gras party ? I'm thinking it was Sonny Landerth or a studio musician really trying to sound like him.
