Wonder if Slowhand will be in the city that weekend, the final weekend of the Beacon run???

I went last year. I think Bruce was on the bill last year and didn't show up.
But it doesn't matter. It was a rockin' good time.

The best part was when one ... man a few sheets to the wind kept trying to pay the band to play different songs. Not Clapton songs, mind you. I forget who it was, but he told the guy "I think you'll like this one" before going into the "Layla" riff (again, I think -- jeez, who was the wasted one). When they started, the dude was all "OH YEAH! I KNOW THAT!!"
