I have two shows from there...an early and a late but i have heard people say there were not two shows..."early" ending with YDLM and the late with mountain jam.....so i do not know what to think...the songs are diffeent..what i mean is the Statesboro blues are very different..the "late" show has alot of Bass....it is a Zues bootleg...while some great peachhead on here sent me two versions of the early..one reg and one Mahashiko remastered...but it has been in my player all week..as i was sick and could not work..

both encore with "revival" i will have to compare to see if they are the same....some of the others oneway out etc do not sound the same to me...they are not...aty least everything but revival which i only say that as i have not listened to it........

There definitely were 2 shows that night in Central Park. I listened to the early show while waiting in line to get into the late show. What a night - the crowd was great, the band hit the note, and it was an incredibly beautiful summer night in NYC.

I did remastering works for both early and late show.
Talking about late show, my work has done for Zeus bootleg and is 2 CD set. I know there are 1 CD late show is circulated but I think this is a compilation of early and late show.
IMO, late show is much more thrilling than early show and I really love this Revival, starting with Duane's MC and his solo, really fantastic play, yes he is a skydog!

There's a long line for this vine. Should I offer up a B&P?

I've posted about this show before, but love talking about it. I had tix to the late show. Got to the park early. As we walked into Central Park from the entrance near the Plaza Hotel (59th and 5th), we could hear the ABB playing 'Liz Reed during the early show. The sun was starting to go down, NYC and the park were a perfect backdrop to the song.

While my sister and her bf stood on line to get into the late show, I walked around the skating rink where the concerts were held. There were thousands of people in the park listening to the ABB, so it took some time. By the time I got to a hill that was close to and overlooked the backstage area, the band had come off the stage. I could see them very clearly - they were all laughing and seemed to be having more fun than anyone else.

The late show was magic. Unfortunately, it was the last time I saw Duane.

I live in London, and I'm trying to get a seed copy for the UK and Europe.

If you're interested in getting a copy on this side of the ocean, please just PM me with name & postal address etc.

Cheers for Leo!

I'm listening to my copy now and it's outrageous! It's an audience recording, but the sound is very good, and the band is on fire. It's one of the best I've heard, period.

I'll B&P whoever asks. And since this is a trading tape, I won't have to change my mind

IMHO, this would be an outstanding archival release with a bit of remastering.
