I was thinking it really couldn't wait any longer. The local bar will show U-Tube stuff on a big projection screen at a customer's request. After hearing numerous old Alice Cooper songs and the top 10 countdown of Heavy Metal Songs (I interrupted this, so I don't know what the top 10 Heavy Metal Songs are). I am friends with the bar owner so I had him play any 2 songs of his choosing by Susan T. when the choices came up on U-Tube. Wait for Me and Angel from Montgomery (from Austin City Limits) were the 2 that were played. You have to consider that this is very rural Iowa. For example, Tracy Byrd will be at the county fair here in town and people are pretty excited. However, I got some really good comments - I'm pretty amazed. There's still hope for Butler County, IA.

Angel From Montgomery is my favorite. At Berklee Susea yelled it out and it took Susan by surprise.
She was battling a cold. At the end she played it for her parents who were in attendance.

you go sista Kitty! i love to do stuff like that when i go out to a bar..& if they don't have any Mule, DTB or Susan, i play all the ABB that they have, every time lol! drives my husband nuts! it's a shame that more people haven't discovered Susan....or much of our other music! I have turned on several of my friends to her & haven't heard anything but positive of course! i even took one of my best friends to see her last october here in Buffalo & she was hooked! to me, there is no other femal singer that tops Susan...and i can hear the teachings of Derek in her guitar playing as time passes as well!
my 14 y/o son really likes her a lot too, the rule when i drive is it's my vehicle & my music so leave your hands off the radio... so he's decided that Susan, new or old stuff, is what we can compromise on so that's what we always listen to together! last night he even asked me how to spell Tedeschi cuz he wanted to check her out on utube! of course then he knows how beautiful she is so guess she's got the whole package! trying to turn him onto Derek's new cd at the moment!

it sucks that more of us don't live closer...that would be great to hang out with friends who "get it!" hanging out with good friends having a few drinks & something good to eat, groovin' to some great music...that would be amayzen!

Heidi - if you were here, there would DEFINITELY be a party! And Deb, you'd be invited, too.

So glad you and Deb will get to meet at the Beacon! I'll be seeing Deb twice this spring. We already had a chance to meet at Red Rocks.

We are gonna meet someday, Heidi. Thinking the world better look out that day!

That would sure be wonderful. Really hoping for a Red Rocks this year again. I had just the BEST time. All our peachy brothers and sisters that were there, were fantastic. Even my husband had a great time and he doesn't even really get it.

Gotta go mop floors - yuck! Peace and love to you all.
