Mike, there are a select 14 shows from 2001 to 2006 in video form. This is nothing compared to what the live stream for Moogis will be of the Beacon shows. There are also all the audio shows from 2007 and 2008 which are stealth audio I might add!!!

I think the video shows are a nice treat too but again, not of the quality that the live streams will be!

Forgot to add that it's all Allman Borthers but I do think they are hoping to be more widespread with other bands and perhaps other venues in time.

She sure is. And Mike you've been so kind as to share your videos with out any compensation. So cool of you.

I will say though there is probably not much you will be able to do with Moogis broadcasts. You can probably capture the stream - as one computer whiz once told me there is nothing that can't be done if you know how to write the code or find a program that does it - but I don't think the Moogis people will tolerate clips on the web other than the official ones they put out.

So it was very sweet of you to share what you did capture. They aren't quite as good as professional level, but they are leaps and bounds above most of what I've seen on You Tube and they were of pivotal shows and significant songs from my perspective. You really choose wonderful clips to share.

I almost thought you were the Moogis people just wetting our appetites with clips not quite up to Moogis snuff. :-)

I'm not interested in trying to rebroadcast the Moogis stuff. That would be illegal.
I just want to watch like everyone else. I just wasn't sure if there were any currently available. I do appreciate your kind compliments on my videos. I put alot of effort into making those videos as high quality as possible.
Enjoy!!

Thanks for the kind words!

Mike, I think Ang was just stating this because she knows you do video. We all know it's stealing from the ABB if you were to try and go around the encode. Butch has just about blown a gasket with a few folks who made refference to this. It's against the terms of use and just plain wrong. Anyway, enough of that. Lets just enjoy the live streams as they are supposed to be... live streams! Have respect for the band and all their hard work over the years!

Chowin, stealth is of utmost quality and yes they are soundboard!

Aside from the audio, the video content of the 14 shows varies according to what was used. Some were cameras near the soundboard and others from different locations. They are all complete shows. They zoom in to highlight everyone and honestly are very good. I just want to emphasize that the Moogis live streams are used with the best technology out there today so the quality will be so superb! I had read where Butch said this...

I heard from the head of OnStream (the company that is handling all of our internet delivery) yesterday and he was a bit upset at the quality of the Peidmont Park stream that we have been using as an example. It seems that the stream was encoded into OnStream's servers from a DVD copy. Apparently this lessens the quality some if not a lot. I will be working diligently this week to get the original master of the show and replace the DVD copy with that. Anyway the outcome is that he tells me that, without a doubt, the straight from the digital cameras into the internet into your homes video from the Beacon will be considerably better than the sample you are currently seeing. I like that.

I am loving having all these older shows to watch. Man, it's great for the fans.

Some of the full show video are...

8/3+4/01, 8/23+24/02, 8/9+10/03, 3/26+27/04, 9/2/04, 10/10/04, 7/13/05, 8/20/05, 9/30/05, 10/2/05 and 8/19/06

almost all are full shows. 8.20.05 Boston is a Chuck show and only includes the first set thru d'Mona.
8/3.01 has a Franklin's w/ Jimmy and Phil, 8.9.03 Layla encore, 8.10.03 the Branford Dreams.
Excellent to great to hear most of the '08 run in audio quality.

Super pumped to get the whole Beacon run and all of the guests. The best $100 you'll spend in 2009.

There is no DVD. Whatever Butch was talking about above in my post must have been something that's private. Not available for sale.

Hey Foppa, how are you.
