OK so I was layed off over a month ago. It was probably the best job I have had and actually led the NE managing a sales team of 12. Problem was I was only with my co. for 1 1/2 yrs opposed to 5 or 6 yrs for the rest of the managers. SO I was last one to the party first to leave. I understood somewhat. Well yesterday I had one of those frustrating "what do I do every day" kind of days. I was in melt down mode. SO I decided to visit my mother at the cemetery. It was very therapeutic and I could hear her say everything will work out. I get home and an hr. later I get a call from a job a had been interviewing for. They extended a verbal offer to me and I will be back in the mix very soon. Man if that is not good karma I don't know what is. And 2 days before my birthday to boot. Crazy how things fall into place

Even now, mom makes it all ok Miss u...

Thanks for leting me unload a bit

Great news Dave! I totally believe in the power of good karma, and paying it forward. Life is a circle, I believe, and what you give will eventually come back to you.

Great news, and congratulations. I hope this next year is better for all of us as a whole, a lot of people are hurting, and when I see things like this, it promotes optimism and good karma.

This is my horoscope from my Birthday on Jan 3rd, 2009

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (JANUARY 3). Luck is on your side and you are magnetized to situations that will make the most of your talents. This month brings on the flirtatious fun. There's more work in February and you appreciate the extra money you make, too. A big-ticket item comes at a significant discount in March. Your personal life is revitalized in May. Taurus and Libra adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 31, 4, 33, 23 and 17.

Good for you, Dave.

Brought to mind the lyrics to Little Wing. Someone posted recently that Hendrix wrote it for his Mom, who passed away during his childhood. Gives the song new meaning every time I listen to it now.

I will never forget that now either. Thanks for that,

Little Wing

Well shes walking through the clouds
With a circus mind thats running round
Butterflies and zebras
And moonbeams and fairy tales
Thats all she ever thinks about
Riding with the wind.

When Im sad, she comes to me
With a thousand smiles, she gives to me free
Its alright she says its alright
Take anything you want from me, anything
Anything.

Fly on little wing,
Yeah yeah, yeah, little wing

Always good to hear when a sad story has a happy ending !
I`m glad things went your way.
