The Concert for Bangladesh show with Ringo performing "It Don't Come Easy" with that lineup is stellar!

I like the one he did in reference to George's passing in the last couple of years. Incorporates a lot of Harrison's song titles into the lyrics...."Within you without you''...."all things must pass''.....etc. Clapton plays a great lead break...

Ringo did this tune this past summer here at the FRAZE Pavilion....wasn't a dry eye in the place. Can't remember the frickin' title of it!!!!

It Don't Come Easy from Bangladesh is phenomenal, as is Photograph from Concert for George (both of which were co-written by George Harrison). Id also have to go with IDCE for my favorite. Although With A Little Help From My Friends, while not written by Ringo, is just a classic lead vocal Beatles tune

My favorite Ringo songs are "It Don't Come Easy" and "With A Little Help From My Friends". I saw Ringo and His All-Starr Band a few years back, they put on an excellent show. The band included Jack Bruce and Todd Rundgren.

"It Don't come Easy"

and "Photograph"

I hated Photograph when I was younger.

Thanks Matt05!!! What a great tune! As I mentioned, he played it this past year here in Dayton at the FRAZE--Edgar Winter, Billy Squier, Colin Haye, et.al. in the "All-Starrs". George was the only "Beatle'' he mentioned by name as he introduced the song. He spoke of ...'that other group' a couple of times but only George specificially. I know Clapton does the straight guitar solo on the studio release of that song--Ringo says.."Play on , Eric".....there is also increible 'slide' thru-out the song very reminiscent of Harrison's style....wonder if that's Clapton or someone else? I don't have that CD in regards to the credits.

It's a very decent album overall, actually.

Ringo said that he wrote the "Within You Without You" song....he and/or the producer really captured a Harrison 'feel'. As said, the slide permeates the song. Ole Ringo did a good job with the lyrics.....it could have turned out sorta corny using the song-titles and catch-phrases of Harrison's other works, but he pulls it off. Still curious as to who plays slide guitar......???

It may actually be Ringo playing slide. I'm not sure because there are a ton of musicians on that album.
