OK, I can't find a way to make this format pretty, but I will post it anyway.

The other day I posted about seeing Rockpile. I decided to look into the old concert ticket box to see when it was. As long as I was there, I decided to put all of the tickets into an excel spreadsheet with who I saw, when where, and what it cost. Some of the stubs were missing parts of the info.

It was kind of interesting seeing how the prices have changed over the years. So I thought I would post the list here just for fun so people could see the prices. The formatting makes it hard to read, because I can't make it come out like a table.

My guess is that this is about 1/3 of all the shows I have seen - I don't have any ticket stubs from when I went to Illinois State - and they had a ton of concerts when I was there.

So here is the list - I will break it up into pieces so it is not all one post. There are 247 shows listed here since 1977.....

Funny, I took my wife to see Return to Forever last year for their comeback tour - didn't remember seeing them in 1983......

BTW, was that Dave Mason show on 7-20-77 at Alpine Valley with Elvin Bishop and the Outlaws? If so, I was there too...but missed the Outlaws, who I think opened.

I bet we crossed paths many times, my friend....it'll be fun to check your list. I don't have too many of my old stubs, though.

Not sure - it was a while ago - I need another tab for all the shows I remember that I don't have a ticket stub for - like the ABB at Summerfest when they played 3 songs and then there was a downpour - I was stranded in Milwaukee by my friends and I had to work the next day. Also saw them twice at Alpine Valley with the Ozark Mountain Daredevils - and missed OMD both times...... and when Gregg's band & Dickey's band played separate and then together on one of the side stages at Summerfest.

Also missing the Naperville Ribfest when Heartsfield, Dickey, and Los Lobos played - only time I met TattooNeil.....

Big Windy and I saw you there at Ribfest. I almost died and went to heaven because I was able to buy Heartsfield's first record on CD there.

That combined Gregg/Dickey show at Summerfest was a show I was invited to by Kirk....he was putting out the Les Brers newsletter back then and I called him up to bitch him out because I hadn't gotten my issue yet so he said, "OK smart ass. Can you type?" "Yeah, a little." OK, then get your ass over here and help me get this out!" He then offered me a ride to Summerfest to catch the Gregg and Dickey at Summerfest but I declined because I was so broke I couldn't afford a ticket. Think I'm kicking myself now?

I only have my stubs from Houston 78 and on, missing a bunch.

I have none of my Syracuse shows from 72-78, that includes 6 FZ shows, multiple Doobie Bros, Fleetwood, Ronstadt, MTB, CDB, Deep Purple, Johnny & Edgar Winter solo and together, Savoy Brown, GFR, Uriah Heep, NRPS, a ton of Grateful Dead, Kingfish, Jefferson Airplane, America, Tull, Seeger & Guthrie, RTF, Todd Rundgren, CSN, Heart, Loggins & Messina, Derringer, George Benson, Three Dog Night.

I recently scanned my tickets, I'll post what I have.

What! No ABB?

Yes, I'm very lucky - we were married in 84 - although I think she likes having me out of the house every so often....

Never got the chance to see them until 1991.
