Had a pit seat to see him in Charlotte last time around but got deathly ill and couldn't make it....would have left in an ambulance if I had gone. First time I've bailed on a concert due to health issues....cost me about $300 with the other ticket I bought for a friend. Hope I can catch him this time around in Greensboro.

No GB dates! But space in June for some to be added. Hope they hold off going on sale for a couple of weeks as the card's still recovering from 3 beacon tix. Otherwise, Benidorm's an option as the in-laws live about 40mins away in Javea, Spain. Peak Scottish holiday season - It'll be like a Glasgow concert!

This tour is going to be awesome. I missed him last time around but I would like to catch him. I noticed there is a gap in the June/July dates in Europe. There has been rumors floating around about his appearance at Bonnaroo. Although the festival has grown almost beyond its carrying capacity, I may consider it if various people do show up. Such as Bruce, The Allman Brothers Band, The Dead and although I am not crazy about them I would like to see Phish again, which I hear are most likely going to headline as well. But, I will likely go again if the Boss shows up.

While the previous poster is sleeping through it, I'll be in Atlanta again this year to see him.

Re the gap in late June - It's been widely rumoured that he's a headliner at Glastonbury this year (26-28 June), so other UK dates would be the most likely (he says prayerfully) for these 2 weeks. 2 "major American acts" are headliners according to organiser Michael Eavis.

He sold out two concerts in Stockholm (6/4 and 6/5) in less than 2 hours, so a third concert was added. Ive got ticktes for that concert (6/7). 94 500 tickets were sold out in about 5 to 6 hours.

He's also expected to be at Bonnaroo this year.

I REALLY HOPE BRUCE PLAYS BONNAROO
I've never been to the festival, but if he plays I won't be able to say that anymore.

You apparently haven't been to a Bruce Springsteen epic four hour show. This is four hours solid no set breaks with multiple encores. Life changing live performances and I have been to hundreds if not thousands of shows, 1) Allman Brothers Band (of course), 2) Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, 3)Neil Young and Crazy Horse, 4)Van Morrison and 5) The Grateful Dead, with Jerry of course! So no more ZZZZZZZZZ pleeeezzzzzzzzzeee if you have never seen the Boss in action!

I with you, but mtnjam67 has ripped Bruce and the ESB for years on here. He went and saw them once (and obviously had his mind made up before he went) and has taken great pleasure in bringing down almost every thread about Bruce.

Good luck trying to change his mind....

I don't mean any disrespect but Bruce's music doesn't necessarily speak to everyone. Just as there are people who do not like the Allman Brothers.

I completely agree with that, but why would you go out of your way to denigrate someone you knew others liked and antagonize their fans?

I haven't seen Bruce in many years.

The last time I could have gone I was recovering from hip surgery (the left replacement) and couldn't do the standing/walking required.

My mother and brother have seen three shows together since then.

This morning I told her that Bruce was in Albany on 5/14 and tickets go on sale Monday, figuring she hadn't heard yet.

She said she had talked to my brother and they were going to go.

The show is on my 50th birthday, guess what I'm doing?

I'll have to find a sub for golf that night.

Whooooo Hooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a good question. Maybe they really do not like Bruce. Or maybe they are saying it with a nod and a wink.

I'm not a huge fan but would snatch up a chance to see him live real quick... if he was only coming here!! Thanks a lot, Boss!

To clear any confusion my screen name goes back to a high school nickname, not The Boss himself.

I've seen Bruce in venues as small as the Syracuse Landmark Theater (Tom Joad acoustic tour) and as large as the Cotton Bowl in Dallas for the stadium leg of the Born in the USA tour.

Been a fan since his first album.

I can't wait for May.

This is true, but music should not be for the narrow minded. Also Bruce's music is more for the cerebral. Although some songs are powerful sonic anthems, others are more sublime. That is what makes Bruce such a great and lasting musician. This is odd to discuss this on this particular website and by no means am I downplaying the musicianship of the Allman Brothers, but Bruce has long been lauded on many levels for his ability to pen the great American tune. His music speaks of what America is, as a whole. It is not southern Rock it is not northern or eastern rock it is truly American rock. He works the crowd like no other and by the time you leave a Springsteen show, if you are not sweating and completely inspired then you missed the mark, IMHO.
