You can watch it on your PC/laptop - you don't have to watch it on tv.......

I subscribed but have yet to receive a conformation email.
Just wondering how long that takes. Usually it's automatic.

I just signed up. Now I need to figure out if there is a connection for my Sony laptop to my TV. The only possibility I see is the monitor hookup on the back. Not sure if they make cables that will hook the monitor into my widescreen TV. Anyone in the know??? I have no problem watching on my laptop, but 34" would be much nicer than 15".

It works differently than here. Once you login and check the remember me box, it will keep you logged in. If you go back to the main page, it will look like you are not logged in. On the bar above, it will say Login or Logout. If it says Logout, you are logged in and don't have to login again - just click on forums or something else and you will be in.

For those trying to watch this on your TV. Here is my experience:
My current Sony HDTV flat screen has a PC input - the same plug that used to go to my PC monitor, now goes directly to my TV - picture is excellent. My previous HDTV did not have a VGA/monitor connection, so I used the S-Video out on my PC to that TV - picture was decent, text was impossible to read. There may have been some settings I could have changed on my PC that could have improved that - not sure. For a laptop, not sure. I guess you have to find out what kind of audio/video out options you have, then you may have to get an adapter of some sort to use one of the audio/video inputs on your TV. Hope this helps.

If you have a TV with a monitor hook up in the rear, all you need to do is go to a computer store or Best Buy, etc. Purchase 6 foot monitor cable and a 6 foot monitor extenstion cable. That will give you 12 foot of cable (duh!). The cables cost me about $7.00 each. I guess you can hook another extension cable in there, but I only purchased one. Connect them together, hook them into your laptop, and then hook them into the back of your TV. You then have to use your remote and select source (PC or the name of the connection for your monitor cable). You may also have to hit function / f8 on your PC a couple of times before it recognizes your TV, but it will work. The picture is excellent. I am still trying to figure out how to get the sound through the TV. It says to use a double end single pin connection cable, plugging one end in the head phone jack and one end in the audio in jack next to the TV monitor input. I have done that but so far no TV sound. I can hook up speakers or headphones to my laptop and that works fine. It seems to be that I am just missing the obvious. I'll figure it out before March.
