Do we have a choice? Sure would like to know before Mtn Jam tickets go on sale. the rumors are that Wanee will be the next weekend after Mtn Jam, those of us who would normally go to Wanee may want to go Mtn Jam if Wanee is not happening or is on a different date. It would seem to make sense to let us know one way or the other so we can make a choice and not miss out on reduced price tickets. If they don't everybody may to Mtn Jam and not come to Wanee. Sure would be nice to know we had a choice and then we can determine if we to go to one or the other or both or none at all. Come on now, announce Wanee now.

Yes from what I understand it is very lovely until it rains and then it is mud city, but I don't mind a little mud in exchange for some great music. I think I 'll just go ahead and plan on going to this and let Wanee go even though I do love it so!

I really wish we new about a Wanee date and some idea of the line up.....

Mtn. Jam looks great, and it's actually about 3 or 4 hours less of a drive....but Wanee is a known entity - great park, great people, always great music....

No way I could afford the time or money for both...

Mt. Jam is Warren's festival. You will get two complete two set Gov't Mule shows. The Allman Brothers, I assume, will be the final act on Sunday night being the other act to play a two set show.

Its about 40 miles from Bethel, NY where I believe folk held some sort of mudfest in 1969

The bottom line is the ABB could release their summer tour dates now. Many artists have already done so. Maybe they are waiting for Moogis to get up, and running to get sales there. That's the only reason I can think of. With the Beacon tickets gone, and those who know they are attending those shows already in place, why should their fans have to play this waiting game to know their schedule? We have scheduled shows with tickets already on sale with other artists here that are in August. If they want better sales, someone in their marketing should get on the damn ball. Many of my friends use their tax returns for the festivals, and other shows. Once that money is gone from their pockets, their summer is planned.

LOL!!! That could turn many into Steelers fans. Kind of like hypnosis. But instead of 'look deep into my eyes' it is 'look deep into these babies'!!!

I have been to all four Mountain Jams and had a blast at each even when dealing with the sloshing around in the mud.

I'd love to make it to Mountain Jam one of these years; unfortunately it won't be this year. But, I'm counting on y'all to give us the goods, photos, etc.

I'll be at Wanee....whenever it is.

And,Renee's right.... the Hoopee Jam is in Georgia on May 15-17. It's just a hop, skip and jump from Atlanta, Macon, Augusta, Savannah, Jax, etc. We'll be announcing the preliminary lineup next week! We hope some of you will be able to make it for the first, and soon to be annual, Hoope Jam.

why else would Jimmy have a big gap in his tour dates on a friday and saturday?

maybe the Jimmy Herring band will play Wanee this year!

NO dont say that. Id love to see Jimmy H at Wanee but why the very next weekend after Mt. Jam. Thats going to be a long 2 weeeeeks... But i guess the only good thing is i have Phish tickets for Asheville and going for Knoxville tickets on the 9th and 10th so it would be easier to hit those on my way back home to NY

Well I got my Mtn Jam tickets this morning. I hope Wanee is not the first weekend in June, they should have already announced it. This really pisses me off. I wanted to Wanee in April.
