I am back home in California after completing the ABB rehearsals iin Atlanta. Just spoke with Gregg on the phone, who is at home himself practicing his chops and working out his parts, about getting some of the necessary charts and lyrics to him.

We were there for a week and worked primarily on material geared to accomodate the many special surprise guests slated to appear at the Beacon run this year.

I can't give away any of the names yet (Otherwise, how could they be a "surprise"? Right?), but we did work out a long list of tunes and arrangements that will highlight those who will be sitting in.

Some of the songs turned out so well, in fact, that the Bros spoke of incorporating them into their permanent songlist and Gregory said he'd like to carry a couple of them over into his GA shows.

Anyway, there will be some pretty dazzling guests and much amazing music this time around. And, tho I haven't seen any of it yet, I understand that the show visuals are being majorly revamped to be quite impressive.

Overall, it looks like the 40th anniversary shows at the newly redecorated Beacon Theater will be quite the memorable spectacle... not to be missed.

How even more exciting is this!!! Perhaps songs from each guests collection will be in the rotation which is so exciting to think about!!!

I hear 5 more shows are to be added...

Might we be seeing a giant LCD backdrop handling the video instead of projectors? I've seen that a couple of times in recent years and it's pretty stunning.

Daved do you think alot of the old songs the band has previously recorded that have not been played in years will be played. Did they make attempts at some of them? Thanks in advance.

Sorry Bob. I "Don't [want to] Keep [You] Waiting" but, I don't want to spoil any of the surprises... LOL .... but believe me, there WILL be many jaw-dropping moments in store.

I got a concert call from rehearsal, but didn't recognize what was being played. I thought that was interesting.

A**h***!
I meant it wasn't standard ABB fare--I don't think. Of course they could have been way out there in True Gravity or something like that. But I kinda' thought it was something special.
