I'm just wondering if Jimmy Herring is playing with them like the last tour Warren was on or if its just W and Bobby. Any ideas, anybody?????

Looks like Warren and Bobby. But who knows? There is always plenty of room for guests. Maybe Derek. I remember seeing him onstage at MSG to play with the Dead.

OK...I have my Ticketbastard rant of the day. Do the Ticketbastard on sale this AM for the Dead. Literally on the page at 10AM on the nose. Of course, there are NO tickets at all. Of course lots of tickets on TicketsNow and Stub Hub. The only way to get a decent seat on TB is if you plan on seeing Sha Na Na at the freakin' Westbury Music Fair

Sounds disturbingly familiar...

The thing I like about this tour is that Jimmy isn't on it. I love Jimmy but he doesn't sing and if you put him in the mix with Warren, Weir doesn't know what to do with himself around 2 lead guitarists. It gets real sloppy. I keep saying it but the best thing is that this is a 6 man line up. Past tours stroked too many egos. Phil and Weir wanted their current band mates so you ended up with 2 keyboards and 2 lead guitars. Too busy.

Let Warren sing and play the Jerry parts. It's not to replace Jerry, it will just make for the best sounding music at this time. From what I can also see from Penn State and the inauguration footage is that Mickey is playing a much more streamlined kit which might make for less of a drums/space portion of the show. which is fine by me. Also......... for $ 100.00 in a big areana.........the boys better rehearse !
