I guess they could have not played the Beacon this year in knowing that this scalping was more than likely going to happen.

I they can get some fool to pre-pay $2500 for those seats, they can prolly buy from the TM auction for a lot less.

And Eileen, you wanna split those 24 seats? 12 for each of us at only $150 a pop? HA!!!

If they would release more better seats on the pre-sales that would be less in the hands of the scalpers if they don't get them they can't re-sell them.

You don't have to buy the whole block. The same seats were $115 during the sale.....

I won't give into paying more than face value for a seat. If I go price automobiles I don't think I'd ever as the salesman " How much more than sticker price can I pay for this car? "

I agree. Keep waiting for when seats get given back for not meeting the presale rules. Also, keep checking the Spare Tickets forum here - there are always people with more tickets .......many show up at the Beacon parties, but that is usually too late.

Hi All, I saw that you had posted concerttheatertickets.com as a scalper. Well i wanted to say that we arent the scalpers we are just advertising the tickets for sale to people that can't get the tickets else where and we do not make or mark up the prices. We just help sell the tickets that are offered to us. We have over 1300 suppliers of tickets and everything is pre set. My wife and i only started doing this a few months back as a extra income and now its getting to be a business for us. We are slowly converting to not selling tickets from brokers as we are soon to be offering tickets to venues directly from the bands and venues. I know like Stubhub and others have made a bad name for this but we try not to be like them as we do sell tickets alot cheaper then everyone else.

When you sell tickets at anything over face value, it's SCALPING!

So you sell them for cost - this means what they would cost any fan who was able to purchase at a boxoffice or through TM for advertised admission price ... no markups? If not you would seem to be a ticket scalper (ticket scalper, ticket broker - it's the same thing).

If you plan to compete with Ticketbastard, all I can say is, "Good luck." If you can become a reputable ticket outlet and not charge and arm and a leg for "handling fees," then have at it. Ticketbastard has a monopoly on the ticketing industry. I don't know how possible it will be to get business away from them.

Don't BS a BSer, you and your wife know exactly what you doing, which is perfectly legal, but don't come to this site and try to explain that you are trying to be fair. FU, fair is selling the tix for face value - period. Anything else is Scalping.

all concerttheatertickets is doing is selling tickets in the secondary ticket market which means "that you are purchasing tickets from someone who previously acquired tickets for an event and is now offering those tickets for resale."

Is it legal to resell tickets? Isn’t this scalping?

With just a few small exceptions, the reselling of event tickets is legal now virtually everywhere, as long as it does not take place on the premises of the venue. No, it isn’t “scalping.” Scalpers are unlicensed people who whisper “hey psst… need any tickets” at you when you approach a venue.

and if you not so nice people in here want to read more about where that came from then go here http://allticketscheap.com/smart-ticket-buying-q-as

I made that page for people like all of you making unnecessary comments about ticket sites !

People like us do not provide an outlet for scalpers to sell their tickets at an inflated price for a fee, which is exactly what you and all of the other resellers do. You can paint it however you want, you are profiting from a scalper. People like us provide tickets to shows to each other at no additional cost. People like you are not welcome here!
