Most people have been a witness to this at concerts: some moron jumps on the stage while the performer is in the middle of playing a song. Sometimes he tries to talk to the performer, or just try to make a spectacle of himself onstage. But usually security grabs him and hauls him away.

Anyone got any experiences of this kind to speak of ?

Also, what happens to the moron after he is apprehended? Does he get arrested, or just thrown out of the venue?

i have seen it for years. most of the time they just get thrown out . if it is a metal show they get put back into the crowd because most metal bands don't care as long as get get right off.

One guy jumped up on stage at the end of the Ronnie James Dio concert at the Universal Amphitheater in 2002. He just walked over to high-five and hug Ronnie. Ronnie was a good sport but the fan was escorted off quickly and sent out of the building. I saw him afterwards and he was bragging to all his friends. He seemed like a good guy but he's lucky he didn't get pulped by security.

Most importantly, Ronnie Rocked that night! The guy has pipes and energy!

At the Allmans show at PNC in Jersey a few years ago some guy ran onstage during the encore of Southbound and he got speared like a football player by a security guard. It actually looked really bad because it was obvious the guy just wanted to jump onstage dance and then get offstage but this security guard ran full speed across the stage and crushed him. Which then made Warren play the sound of a British police siren.

I remember one time at a Johnny Winter show back in the 70s, some drunken/stoned out moron tried several times to climb on stage (stage was about 6 food high). Security and Johnny's road crew tried to get him to stop, but he wouldn't. Anyway, they finally let him climb up on stage, where they promptly grabbed him and, quite literally, "launched his ass" off of the back of the stage to the concrete floor below. Don't know if the the moron was arrested, but I'm damn sure he was hurting when he finally sobered up.

You have to be a freakin' idiot to breach stage security these days, in light of what happened with Dimebag Darrell. If you are dumb enough to try it, you should be tough enough to take whatever ass whooping they want to put on you.

Yeah, hopefully he was so drunk that he didn't feel all of the pain it caused...until the next day when he looked down and saw his entire torso covered in one huge black and blue.

But if they happen to be a fine-lookin' female ... they get escorted to the backstage lounge area for free drinks and refreshments!

I remember it too- the guy was barely able to stand up- you could have pushed him over with one finger. The security guard that nailed him came from the opposite side of the stage, so he was running at full tilt when he sacked the dude.

I once saw a woman get up on stage during a recent Johnny Winter show, put her arm around him and try to kiss him. Since Johnny can barely see, he didn't know it was coming and looked pretty freaked out by the incident. but he didn't miss a note...

Also, check out the video SIMON AND GARFUNKEL: THE CONCERT IN CENTRAL PARK. (This is not on the soundtrack LP)

Paul Simon performs his new tune "The Late Great Johnny Ace." In the middle of the performance, a guy gets on stage and starts yelling something as he gets hauled away.

When i saw Panic in Cleveland on March 31, 2007 one of the hottest women ever with the biggest set of boobs ever jumped up on stage. She was wearing a tank top and while she was jumping up and down, both boobs flopped out. They dragged her off stage, but I could still see her off to the side listening to the show.

For the second set, she must have moved back into the crowd, but then she jumped up on stage again!! The time she just didn't care and proceeded to pull her shirt over her head exposing her breasts once again. They pulled her off stage and the band just laughed.

After the show, I saw her on the sidewalk but no breasts were seen.

Was anyone else at this show? It was great!!

I was at an Allman Brother show in Louisville, KY back in 95. This young, pretty girl jumped up on the stage and hugged Dickey. He grinned like a possum eatin' ****. Kirk grabbed her and pulled her off the stage.

Right when he sings the line about the death of John Lennon.

I saw a very drugged out guy walk onto the stage at Mt. Jam last year during Mule's performance. Brian Farmer actually grabbed the guy and threw him off.

In 1980, when I was 16 I jumped on stage (I was sitting on someone's shoulders) and kissed David Lee Roth at the Philadelphia Spectrum. I'll never forget looking out at the audience after kissing him and seeing thousands of screaming people, it was beyond amazing... Security picked me up and much to my surprise, carried me right back to first row! I was sure I'd get thrown out (especially since I was wearing a Rolling Stones T-shirt that had "Mick" on the back! ), but the gods were smiling upon me! I stayed the the rest of the night and had the time of my life.

Needless to say I was the coolest girl at school the following Monday...
