Bobby Keys blew some sax with local legend [George Howard] here in Tucson at the boondocks lounge! they did some stones of course!, this guy played with everyone from buddy holly to joe cocker to the stones. I had a shot or two of cuervo with him, and Ill try to post a pic soon.

Wow! What a special treat that must have been.


Bobby Keys plays that extended sax solo on the Stone's Cant You Hear Me Knocking?

I think that song features Keys and Mick Taylor at their very best !

They played us that one! along with "brown sugar", "miss you" "honky tonk woman", "sweet virginia" and joe cockers version of "the letter"

I would be in heaven if this happened at a bar I was sitting in!!! Bobby Keyes is one of my favorites! I've always thought that he added SO MUCH to the Stones sound (and some of those solos - hmmm ... waiting for a friend comes to mind ... sublime!)
