If this is the first time you are reading this we started this thread to counter-balance the negativity being spread by a few to show the strenght of many. There is still a freebie offer floating around in this thread unclaimed. See if you can find it. If you do and claim it why not offer up another show? If you participate in the Vines and Trades Sections and you happen to have an extra show laying around why not offer it up here to show the great people of the Allman Brothers Forum how much you appreciate their brotherhood?

In Honor of the Memory of brid72's son. God's Rest. I too have lost someone close due to a traumatic brain injury. The very wonderful people of this website prayed and comforted us in our time of need. And I have not forgotten about that. Thank you again to all of you.

Let's get our positive vibes back around here~!

Wow, what a great offer. I hope I got my PM to you in time.

I'll follow that up with an offer of my compilation - DTB - In Another Country (deluxe edition).

Check here for more info:
http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=XForum&am p;file=viewthread&tid=85797#pid1987969

The first to PM me gets it, just like w/Brian's offer.

Peace and love to the bird72 family.

TopDroog is the taker.

I ordered myself a copy during the pre-order. Then my wife also ordered me a copy for Christmas. I didn't tell her. But I indeed have two copies. I can't wait to get the other one out the door.

Good Vibes all around~!

Very cool, Slowhand. And to top it off, it couldn't have gone to a better person...

Yet another example of why I love the people around here.

Not taking a spot. Just wanted to say thanks to both of you anyway.

Hey, very cool. Thanks a ton.

My offer has been accepted by Isaac (IPowrie), a dude I have begun chatting with here relatively recently. He seems to me to be a righteous brother, and I'm happy to send it to him.

Now that I think about it, Slowhand, you also need this set, so send me YOUR address, and I'll get one of these out to you as well.

Wouldn't it be cool if this were to turn into a general good vibes and freebies thread?

Droog, While I am most appreciative and wanting to take you up on your offer, I don't want ours to be a straight up trade. I will hit you up for it again soon though!

Would you kindly reoffer to a second taker then?

And while we're at it, I'll offer up one of my favorite shows:

Allman Brothers Band (w/ Jimmy Herring)
6/17/2000
Aberdeen Proving Grounds
Baltimore, MD

Revival, Statesboro Blues, Leave My Blues at Home, High Falls, Good Clean Fun, Please Call Home, Midnight Rider, Sailin' Across the Devil's Sea, Mountain Jam, You Dont Love Me, Feel So Bad, Dreams, Elizabeth Reed > Drums > Bass > Elizabeth Reed, Encore: Whipping Post You want it? PM me!

You started a great thing Brian, but since this is a Derek Trucks thread, let's get back on track. I have not yet received my copy of Already Free, but I have had the chance to see most of it performed last fall, including my own recording of this show (with the help of taper Keith). It has a lot more "bonus" tracks than the Best Buy, and is free for the first person to post here (then PM your addy).

Derek Trucks Band
The Paramount Theater, Peekskill NY
November 1, 2008

Set 1
01-Down in the Flood
02-Get What You Deserve
03-Soul Serenade
04-Don't Miss Me When I'm Gone
05-These Days
06-Intros
07-Blind Crippled and Crazy
08-Feel So Bad
09-Done Got Over

Set 2
01-Soul of a Man
02-Chicken Robber
03-Meet Me at the Bottom
04-Sweet Inspiration
05-I'll Find My Way
06-Crow Jane
07-My Favorite Things
08-Leavin' Trunk
09-Encore Call
10-Volunteered Slavery

Actually I chose that ABB show because it is some of the best interplay between Derek and Jimmy I have ever heard.

Too bad there wasn't an official release from the summer of 2000 when Jimmy was in the band.
