Those 58 candles don't have a prayer. He is, after all, a blowhard.

Yep, a bit of a blowhard. But, he did save AM radio and created his network organically by beginning on one station and spreading to a sustained level of 600-plus stations and 15 to 20 listeners a week for 20 years.

Whoa, lotta hostility for Rush. You know that radios do have 2 dials. One changes the station, other turns it on and off. It only took me about 2 minutes listening to Keith Olbermann to realize I didn't like him, never went back. Why waste your time hating somebody? Never understood wasting your life hating another person. Oh well.

It's not hate, really.. It's just being aware that the man is a hypocrite: Years ago he lectured us all about drug addicts (and made some real colorful remarks about what society should do with them) and it was revealed he is a drug addict as well.

Being that he is usually speaking to millions of people about hating people with political beliefs the same as mine, I feel like I should at least pay attention to what he is saying from time to time.

Isn't it ironic that Limbaughs birthday is also National Pharmacists Day? BTW, what does the Hindenburg and Limbaugh have in common? One's a full of hot air natzi the other's a blimp.

I am a Big believer in the theory that it is just not right to voice an opinion about something if you've never taken it for a "test drive". That being said, I don't care for Limbaugh's slant on things, never have. But I listen to him on a regular basis and will continue to do so. How else would I know that he was a self promoting money whore?

I'm a Rush fan because he talks about issues on his program and presents viewpoints that the mainstream media won't touch. He never claimed to be fair and balanced....He IS balance. God knows there are already enough places to get the PC, liberal slant on the news. I pay as much or more attention to those sources, also. If you don't listen to what he has to say, you're shortchanging yourself.

The best part of Rush is his sense of humor, though. The guy can be hilarious! Whether you agree with him or not, that alone is worth tuning in from time to time.

I've never laughed at anything he's ever said. I do not agree with nor will I ever agree with the notion that America's biggest enemy is other Americans that don't agree with you. His emphasis on constant division is his cash cow. More power to him. Free country. However, I find nothing humorous or admirable about him.

I also don't find him funny at all. He is a very polarizing and divisive person. Not a team player at all. I did watch both his appearences on ESPN football pregame prior to him getting fired, and he doesn't know squat about football either.
