A friend recommended him to my and I listened to some of his clips on his website. Seems like an interesting artist.

Anyone seen him live or know anything about him?

I also have a Tab Benoit show from 2-22-08. I really like it - I'll call it Cajun/country/Blues. Good time feelin' music.

Tab is the real deal. From Houma, Louisiana. Great voice and swamp blues guitar and tone. Recommend CDs - Fever for the Bayou and Nice and Warm. Last time I checked, he and his band traveled around in a big pickup truck. No bus for those guys. He does lots of benefits for area causes. Missed him the few times he made it my way, but I'll keep trying.

Here is a Blueswax interview with him (you may have to register to see it) http://www.visnat.com/entertainment/music/blueswax/getarchivedfeature.cfm?f eaturenumber=849

Actually the last time I saw Tab, a couple months ago, he was travelling in one of the nicest tour buses I've ever seen. Tab is a great musician and a nice guy. A great supporter and activist for Gulf Coast wetlands preservation.

He's a good singer/songwriter/blues guitar player. He wrote my favorite Jonny Lang song, Nice & Warm!
