Newbie here. I purchased some Beacon tix on Ticketbastard yesterday
and I saw there was a Fan Club pre-sale. I was heretofore unaware of
an ABB fan club. Well after searching high and mighty for this fan club
on the web, I am coming up with nothing. So I thought I would drop
in and ask some experts. Is there a fan club, and if so where do I find it and
how do I join? Thanks!

Good luck next year....

This is it. By next year you will be qualified for the pre-sale.

They were OK. I bought tickets for three shows and got seats toward the back of the orchestra
for two, and got first row balcony for the other.

Sorry to be so dense. I just walked into the room. How do I set my account to receive e-mails from HTW? What is HTW?

Hey there, brother (or sister).

"HTW" is this site - Hittin' the Web (with the Allman Brothers Band). We are considered the "fan club," a.k.a., the "Peach Corps."

Now, you're a part of it too. Welcome.

To make sure you get notifications of presales, passwords, various special events, etc., go to "newsletter" on the left. It will appear under the heading "community."

When you click on it, you will be taken to a page that will allow you to subscribe to or unsubscribe from the "peach-o-gram" newsletter.

These are the notices that go out with presale information. Make sure you're subscribed. The peach-o-grams will go to the email address you submitted when you signed up for your user name for the site.

NOW THIS IS CRUCIAL. The email address you use to buy tickets at Ticketmaster MUST BE THE SAME EMAIL at which you receive your peach-o-gram newsletters.

Having the email addresses not match is the #1 reason people's presale tickets get canceled. If bob@hotmail gets a password and then john@yahoo makes the purchase, the administrators of this site will instruct Ticketmaster to cancel that transaction, because as far as they can tell, john@yahoo ain't no member.

Now, you may already have a Ticketmaster account under a different email address. You can change your email address with Ticketmaster, or you can change your email address here. Just remember, in order to actually receive the tickets you order (even if you were able to place the order initially), the two email addresses must match.

There will also be presale notifications for other shows, both your regional shows (I'm in Chicago, for instance), and other nationally-drawing shows, such as Red Rocks.

I hope this helps.

Peace, and welcome once again.

HTW!!! I knew I was being dense. I guess I was distracted by Jake Delhomme's
attempt at breaking the NFL single game interception record.

I did buy my Beacon tix in the AMEX pre-sale.

Thanks for all of the welcome greetings. I look forward to hanging out with you guys.
I have been a nearly life long fan of the Brothers. I first saw Gregg opening for the late great
SRV in Philly at the Mann Music Center in 1987 and then had my first ABB experience at the same venue in 1992. I can't wait for the Beacon shows!
