So I've visited here a few times and just registered. Sorry for my ignorance but I'm reading in the forum that presale has already started. When I go to tour dates however, it says check back for dates. Well I'd really like to see the ABB this year sometime, somewhere. Can someone help with presale for Beacon or future dates?

Hi, Andy! Beacon fan club presale, while technically still going on, began at 8PM ET on Wednesday and is effectively over, although you can still keep checking as the Eagle Eye Team (Lana and her peeps) sifts through the already-placed orders and kicks back the ones that don't qualify for various reasons (mismatched email address, failure to register on the site prior to 12/31/2008, too many shows, etc.). So tickets could pop up for that.

Also, the Amex presale began yesterday, and it too is still going on, so try yer luck at that if you have an Amex card. The passcode is the customer service # on the back of your card.

If all else fails, the general onsale begins next Friday, Jan. 16, at 10AM ET.

Also, I have a pair of Orch Row S for sale for the Thursday, March 19 show. I was able to upgrade my seats so I would like to sell those for cost. Either PM me or check the Spare Tickets topic in the Forum.

Later gator, and GOOD LUCK!

OK I found the link for tix and now at ticketmaster. So what is the password for presale? Is there a unique password for each date or is it the same password for all shows?

Sorry Andy, but as you only just registered yesterday you do not qualify for the fan club pre-sale. Even if somebody told you the password and you bought some tickets, they would get cancelled by the administrators. The good news is that as you are now registered, you will be able to get tickets in the pre-sale next year. For this year, your only chance is when they go on sale to the general public. Good luck.

you were plenty helpful, harvey, thanks. the thing is, all the over priced ebay tickets came from the presale. I realize that I just registered and am not allowed to buy presale tickets. ebay is an expensive alternative.

You are probably wrong about most of these tickets being from the pre-sale. According to the Ebay list most of these are through ticket brokers. These groups always show tickets for sale on hot shows - even before any presale or general sale occurs. They opperate based on averages and risk - what are the odds that when tickets go on sale they will be able to procure x number of tickets and for what locations. When you purchase tickets from one of these sites read the fine print ... the tickets being advertised are not necessarily the tickets they will be able to procure (so you are not always going to end up with the exact tickets you thought you had purchased... just a reasonable simile).

Yes indeed Deb ... that is generally the case ... anyway, best of luck in the General Sale on Friday Andy ... and if you manage to get tickets for the weekend of the 20th / 21st, be sure to drop in on the post show parties at BB King's ... it is usually quite a night

I think all the double letter rows go straight to scalpers / auction. Don't worry, you should be able to get tickets and fairly good seats during the regular sale.

actually, they don't. i've been in double letter seats a bunch of times, and a whole passel of other folks from here have been too. some of them from the presale, some from the public onsale, sometimes from the tickets that pop up a few weeks before the show.
don't mean to be disagreeable, it's just that thinking that everything is "fixed" that way makes some folks feel unnecessarily hopeless.

I registered a while back (11/13/2008) but still didn't get any info about about the fan club pre-sale, does anyone know what I'm doing wrong so that next time I might have a chance at some pre-sales?

Thanks,
