Derek & The Dominos
1970/12/01 Curtis Hixon Hall, Tampa, FL
with Duane Allman
Beta 2 remaster by MasahikoYamaura

Disc 1:
1. Layla
2. Got To Get Better In A Little While
3. Key To The Highway
4. Why DOes Love Got To Be So Sad
5. Blues Power >
6. Have You Ever Loved A Woman

Disc 2:
1. Bottle Of Red Wine
2. Let It Rain
Bonus Track
3. Layla_test_new1 (Test sample for final remaster)

Lineage:
ARMS "In The Skydog" silver > iMac > QuickTime (up converted to 24bit/96kHz) > Audacity ( correct sound volume to keep in same level, interpolate cut out part of "Key To The Highway" from another source, enhanced bass & guitars frequency, added a bit wider image, down convert to 16bit/44.1kHz, split into each tracks ) > CD-R

I worked for this show over two years back for HTW and called it as beta remaster because I have further idea to work out more.
I offered it through here and I'm working for final remaster of this show. Almost a year back, I lost my original master of this beta remaster files by my mistake but I didn't care because the project is still going on, I thought beta remaster is only a milestone of the project.
However, after I lost my beta remaster files, some of my friends asked me to get copies of that beta remaster, so I decided to make a new remaster of this show again and called it as beta 2 remaster. It was few months back.
Also got some advices that I should share this remaster here and DIME, finally I decided to share this show by myself for New Year's gift to all the good fellows here and there.
I also added a test sample of Layla of final remaster I'm doing now.
I really hope you all will enjoy this show.

Freebie offer for two who will reoffer. Post here and shoot me a PM with your addy.

1.
2.

If you are familiar with torrent, I've uploaded this show on DIME today as follows. Please gab this show from there.

Happy New Year and enjoy!

Masahiko, thanks for sharing your generosity with the traders here at HTW. I hope I can return to Tokyo again soon and spend some more time with you talking music and hanging out at Derek and the Dominos in Kawaski! (Masahiko's hangout where they play nothing but classic tunes (I hate the term "Classic Rock") on vinyl in a relaxed setting like you're in someone's living room-very cool place and even cooler people!)

Masahiko,

Just snagged this on Dime. Well done, actually listenable. Thanks.

I've shared this before but might be of interest to some.

I was a freshman at ST. Pete Jr. College, Clearwater Campus in Dec 1970. I had a core posse of 50 or so "long-haired hippie types" and quite a few in the extended friends circle. Day of the show everyone talked about it, I was asked several times if I was going, but I ended up blowing it off.

Of all my friends only Mike McKown (no longer with us) went. Next day he told me Duane was there I was bummed, but not for long. The Brothers played around central Fla every couple months or so...yes, we took them for granted.

Only about 500 people attended the show, Curtis Hixon held about 10,000.

Thank you John for sharing your great memory/experience with us. Really fantastic.
It's a miracle that two tapers existed in such a small amount of audience, only 500 peoples!!
I hope someday next gig's tape of Syracuse will be found at someone's garage or so and will circulate.
It's one of my hugest dream.
