FUKKIN' GREATNESS! Highlights include: ALLEN WOODY!!!!, Dickey looking and sounding great, Gregg apparently just coming off of/or in the middle of a 3 week drinking binge, Johnny Neel (really talented, but possibly too much for this line-up). Howsabout the on-lookers in the very small audience (FUNNY! Any HTW posters in the audience??) What a great line-up.

Friggin' awesome. Never seen this before. I hope someday stuff like this will be officially released (unedited) someday on some kind of DVD compilation or on a bonus dvd that accompanies a re-release. Wow, wish i was in the audience.

Thanks for posting !!!

Yep. Gregg looks great. It's a good thing they faxed Dickey out of the band!

I know its only a rehearsal but they don't sound as good as the current line up. IMHO

Great stuff! Thank God, no slide noodling, no metal chords....the classic ABB sound, raw and organic. Thanks for posting the link!

Over a decade of drought, then mysteriously the ABB pops back into the scene. Had seen a few GA shows, seen Betts band open for Gregg just before the Angel LP came out, Betts joined GA Band on stage and the place went ballistic. Then rumors started circulating about a reunion. I was pumped but the anticipation slowly died off, then of the sudden I'm out on a boat off the coast of Carlsbad and we're catching the hell out of fish and all it took was the first few notes of Good Clean Fun to come across the radio we had blasting I and screamed " Thats the **** ing Allman Brothers Band ! " A new LP came out I didn't even expect and tours followed. This was one smokin' band . I saw this version 3 or 4 times.
These vids took me back...thanks asv !
