As do other folks here.

As much as I can be an aggravating pest at times around here, I try to bring some music and laughs also.

I'm not the same Kenny that posted here the first time years ago. Back then I was much more Friendlier, humorous and a lot less sarcastic(and most of all, not Bi-Polar)..even though I mean no harm when I am. I read my old post sometimes and feel sad that I don't seem to have "that" in me anymore.

I'm a rapid cycler, which means I can go through many emotions in one day. I even got to a support group 5 days a week to try and keep things in check. I really love being able to meet and hang out with folks that deal with the same and much worse issues than I do. Folks that you would never expect that have issues and some that you can tell the first time you meet them. We had a great Christmas Party there yesterday. I took my daughter Sarah with me.

I know it can get crazy and rough here at times. But to me it's still the best music site I have ever been part of. Just check around at some of the others and see how folks can't seem to agree on anything or just how vicious they can be.

The Allman Brothers Band have a lot of fans from the "Peace and Love" era, folks that are good hearted and kind. What a nice quality to have. I see nothing wrong with that and it's a trait that I wish I was much better at.

When I post music and pictures I try to share something we all have in common....the love for music. I may not pick everyones faves, but I try to mix it up the best I can.

I hope to get back to work after the Holidays...counting the time I took taking care of Aunt Marge it's been Oct. 26th of 2007 since I have worked. I can go back to my job of 20 years, but I choose to start over somewhere else. I have a lot of things to start over with, mostly my life and at 52 it scares me. When I do go back to work, my time here will be much less. I use this place as another sort of meeting with good people.

Anway, I sill love this place and have special feelings for a lot of you...through the good and the bad.

Like many have said, times are very tough...folks deal with it in all sorts of ways.

So sometimes we need to step back and think about it for a minute, I'm as guilty as anyone for being rude sometimes. Others here are good hearted folks all the time.

Take Care ,
Kenny

Kenny, I think you do a great job. When I have time I try and view some of the stuff you post and more often than not, I find something that I either did not know the 1st time around or just plain forgot about.

We don't know each other but let me say I'm glad you are here and I hope you continue to post. Good luck with your job with what ever you choose to do.
Wishing you the very best,
Mike

Hey Kenny,

You already know I dig your excellent taste in music as well as your musical diversity. You got a true rock and roll heart brother...

Keep those tributes comin'...:

This thread was intended to be about all of us.

While I was saying I do try to keep the music feeling alive like others do.

We all have our own troubles, demons, and hard times. Some worse than others.

Some have health problems, or are dealing with someone who does have health issues that make my troubles look pale in comparison.

I do appreciate the care, because when care is needed for someone here, people stand up and some folks do not even get that from their own families.

You don't see that at every website.

Lana and Rowland set very good examples.

OK. Then I think I have good taste in music too...

Seriously though, you're right on. Even with the quibbles and disagreements, this is still one nice site and one nice group of people. There is a lot of love and care here that more than compensates for the occasional nastiness

Lana and Rowland. You have done and continue to do a wonderful job.

And you get a huge thank you from me....

Mine began after running into some guy called ODR on the internet. Since then most things have been f*cked up. He is potentially the leader of the cult. I am still undercover and hope to bring this group down before we see a collapse of society as we know it.

Although I have no proof yet. I believe this somehow ties in with South Park and some character named Kenny.

This message will self destruct in ten seconds.

Obviously some Jethro Bodean style double-knot spy type. He is likely the mastermind behind Beavis and Butthead and the ultimate destruction of Winger.

Crafty that Kenny. Now he is plotting taking over R&R using fast food characters. That way he can sell the music and super size your fries and drink.

The plot thickens.

I have one about 3/4 of the way through. This artist is now deceased, and a lot of the photo's I find very touching. I believe there is some that will also touch people here. I'm going to try and finish it tomorrow. I also have one on an artist that passed away on Dec. 22nd a few years ago that i'm going to do tomorrow. Although it will not be as long.

I think Kenny's next job should be doing the tributes. He's good at it. Brings a variety of groups to the table. Isn't afraid of being judged because of the artists. And most of all, he is on the damn computer all day long.

Now all we have to do is find the funding for the project. Perhaps we could call it "Build A Fence Around Kenny". That way we could keep him contained and the world would be a safer place to live.

Or maybe the "Kenny Kook Book" full of his favorite BBQ recipes based on bands. He could throw in some of his famous stories in each chapter. Try The Allman Brothers Band Burgers. Mix a whole bunch of great things together and you get the best burger around. Just like the band. Plus those stories are often worth the price alone. Food, music and comedy all in one book. I sense best seller lists and info-commercials starring none other than ODR!

I'll buy a few copies. But will gladly skip the Candlemass Cabbage.
