Tickets are going to start going on sale tomorrow even though the venue doesn't open until Feb. I'm going to get tickets for BB King and Buddy Guy. I sure hope to see GA&F, Derek and Susan and Mule play here at some point!! Right next to Fenway Park.

Right on! I'm loving our new one in Dallas...and we got one in Houston too. Haven't been to that one yet...but that's all about to change in February. I hope you get Gregory et. al. in Boston!

Thanks for adding this link. Looks as though they will have seats for some shows and open floor (GA) for others!

The one in San Diego is a cool venue as well.....

.....even if they only showcase the "Blues" about 10% of the time.

I'd like to open a "House of pancakes" ...

... and serve Chinese food.

Hey Grrl,
I saw Buddy this summer with George Thoroughgood. Buddy blew Thouroughgood away. What an amazing display of guitar genius!! The other thing I'll say about Buddy Guy: I don't know how old he is but he's like a kid out there.. shuckin and jivin all over the stage! GREAT SHOW

Hey Marge, my friends Jen and Melanie were at that show. She said just about the same thing about Buddy!

Ohhh baby, Mule Mule Mule. I hope it is a larger HOB since the Mule gets such a great turn out in Boston.

Got my tickets!

Hey Ang, you are right that Mule draws a bigger crowd but they played the Avalon many times and House Of Blues will be in the same place. We could get a double header...

This sounds great, figured they'd open a new HOB w/a little more elbow room -- that was a little tight, w/the restaurant downstairs & that small room upstairs -- it was shoulder to shoulder at DB & GS's gig there in 2002 or 3 or so

Where did you end up seating? I'm in the 7th row! I missed onsale by an hour, too, but I guess I can't complain about the results.

I bought the GA tickets from ticketmaster. That's all it said. After reading this about you, I went to Live Nation and it says General Admission but it also gives a row number and seat number. Weird. Guess I'll have to wait and see. I was on right at noon. I'm sure wherever we are is fine.

Hey Stephen, I remember the old HOB. Seen many a show there and yes, way too small. I know that the new HOB is a much better design than that old building in Cambridge.
