I was thinking about that when I was starting this thread.

But then I thought, Dude must have some damn good Doc's and the money for the best health care. If he did not, with all the abuse he has put on his self...he would be in a nursing home already.

I don't really believe in miracles, but Keith's continued existence makes me question that. Happy birthday Keith; many more.

That photo kind of reminds me of what an 70 year old Bon Scott would have looked like.

God forbid we ever have a nuclear holocost, but if we do the only survivors will be cockroaches and Keith Richards.

If Brian was still here, he would have been 66 on Feb. 28th this year. R.I.P.

Check out the ages of the main players:

Mick Jagger (Michael Philip "Mick" Jagger) - 65
Keith Richards - 65
Bill Wyman (William George Perks) - 72
Charlie Watts - 67
Brian Jones would have been - 66
Mick Taylor - a young 59
Ron Wood - 61

Nah, Keith just is build different than the rest of us. Asked if any drug could kill him, he replied, "Nah, I'm polytoxic!"

I saw Keith on his birthday in '81 at Hampton and thought, I better go now, because they won't be around for much longer! Boy was I wrong!

I love Marianne Faithful's quote: "Knife in his back pocket, bottle of whiskey in his hands and the law at his heels: Keith Richards IS rock n' roll!"

Here's to the man that launched a thousand riffs, Keef Riffhard! I'll sip a nice scotch tonight for ya....

I remember someone saying or I read somewhere "Keith can't be killed by conventional means...."

Becksbolero,
That is a hilarious picture! I remember as a little kid (around 7 or 8 years old) and one of the big magazines like LIFE or TIME had an artist's rendition of what he thought the Beatles would look like in their 60's. Unfortunately, they didn't all make it. But I remember that they looked much older in the picture than they turned out to look in reality. Does anybody else remember seeing that years ago?

Gotta love Keith Richards! Who else would fall out of a coconut tree?

I love Marianne Faithful's quote: "Knife in his back pocket, bottle of whiskey in his hands and the law at his heels: Keith Richards IS rock n' roll!"

I love that quote too. Also the one about Keith and the roaches surviving a nuclear war!

Happy Birthday, Keith!
