This is the son of my wife's cousin, being born without a left hand and being diagnosed with diabetes at an early age. While his story has been the talk of the neighborhood, I'd thought I would share it here for those who haven't seen it. I've known Ed since his birth and the kid has never ceased to amaze me with positive outlook on life.

Great story Hank. I got the feeling reading his quotes that he isn't going to let anything stop his goals. Glad to see that Jim Abbott was an influence to him.

Wonderful story, Hank. People like Eddie have a lot to teach us all. It never ceases to amaze me what a wonderous thing the human spirit is ... Eddie is a perfect example of that magnificance.
