This just goes to prove what a pr*ck James Hetfield is, if you notice James in rubbing his arm in jest of Layne's heroin problems. Hetfield himself being a f8ckin' drunk for years.

'Comments by the Dude that shot the video"

1994 Metallica Summer Sh*t tour. This was my only time for me to get see Alice in Chains live and they cancelled the tour. On top of that Candlebox replaced them as the opening act.

So James Hetfield makes fun of Layne Staley for backing out of the summer tour and he gets owned by the crowd.

To bad the bottle did not knock his f*ckin teeth out

Making fun of someone's Heroin Addiction is pretty f*ckin' pathetic. I think it takes someone with no soul to do that. I had a girlfriend die from it age age 40, she rotted in an abandoned house for 30 days before anyone could fine her. She was a very pretty woman, not some piece of sh*t that looked as if she crawled out of a dumspter.

I don't think it's cute one G*D Damn bit. F*ck James Hetfield.

Good call...I hate that **** ing band, they are all losers. Try recording a song that doesnt sound exactly the same for once, Alice in Chains was far superior than Metallica.

Other than that I really have no problem with Metallica, other than it's been years since they have put out a good album. Saw them live twice and they were good. Loved it when they cried like babies over the Naspter situation.

They will never see the success they once did.

Sad commentary on the part of Hetfield - sadder still that he felt the need to make it public. People that point their fingers at anothers misfortune like this - especially when it's an illness, which is exactly what heroin addiction is - are missing something in the compassion department ... and often have some deep insecurities about themselves that drive their cruelty towards others.

I can agree with that Terri, it was 14 years ago.

I was doing my Alice in Chains Tribute and I ran across it, never had heard about it...and I got pissed off.

So your right about that.

See I can be civil sometimes.

Thats like when my Stepdad said I was right the other day, for the first time in over 38 years

I said "Damn, I wish I had a video camera or at least a tape recorder"

It was one of those "priceless" moments.

Terri got me on that 14 year thing.

So i'm not trashin' em now. I don't even want to think of some of the things I did 14 years ago.

and I was 38.

I think what he was saying is "Don't even give it a try in the first place".

When I was 17, I ran with a bunch of friends in their early 20. They all shot dope. They used to get me ( or verbally make me) inject them or tie off their arm sometimes. I hated needles and I hated to do it for them. But they were friends(and I thought they were cool at the time) and we did have some good times.

Most of them gave it up, but the friend I liked most did not, I was trying to find out whatever happened to him a few weeks ago.

Also, as I said in the whipping post....a girlfiriend of mine died in her 40's from it. I had broken up with her because she was brutal when she was high...which was 75 % of the time. she had shot Dilaudid for years and years. She was very pretty, wore very nice clothes...you would have never thought she was a junkie.

One day she went into a abandoned house and overdosed...it was over a month before anyone found her. She chose the needle over anything, family, friends and her job where we met.

Jealous. Wow. And saying they suck is absurd. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean they suck. If you listen to the music with an open head you'll realize that its classical music. And James Hetfield is the best metal songwriter ever.

Gee, you know who's also a pretty kickass band? Primus, and guess what...they do suck!
