I lean towards Craig Ferguson as of lately. They are all decent.

Definately Conan for me (though Letterman's still my favorite)
Conan loves the Mule!

Jay will be missed.

No reason to miss Jay. He just signed a $14,000,000 a year contract with NBC for 3 years.
Wow! Despite a July USA Today interview in which he claimed "I am definitely done next year — with NBC," Jay Leno will remain with the Peacock on his own nightly 10 p.m. talk show when he cedes his 11:30 slot and the Tonight Show to Conan O'Brien next summer, reports Vulture buddy Nikki Finke, who seemingly has Jeff Zucker's office bugged these days. This comes after ceaseless speculation that Leno would move to ABC, which pretty much means NBC is paying him heretofore unimagined amounts of money. This is also terrific news for network wunderkind Ben Silverman who will have five fewer weekly hours to fill (and possibly fewer if Zucker follows through with plans to cut back on original programming) — rock and roll!

So who is this bad news for? Certainly Conan O'Brien, who, after a decade and a half of being the second-most-important star in NBC's after-hours lineup, will have to move all the way to Los Angeles just to be … the second-most-important star in NBC's after-hours lineup. But who is this really bad news for? Well, since this essentially just moves the network's late-night schedule forward by an hour, Jimmy Fallon has just been demoted from the Next Conan O'Brien to the Next Carson Daly (yes, Last Call is still on weeknights at 1:35 a.m.). Also, come June, Carson Daly will officially only be as important as one of those infomercials for Proactiv Solution that currently airs after his show.

Conan is one of the funniest guys on the planet. I fear this Jay thing will definitely screw him though. Jay's audience is mostly senior citizens. They'll just go to bed an hour and a half earlier. And for my tastes, Jimmy Fallon is just pathetically unfunny. You couldn't pay me to watch his show, unless he gets a great musical guest, in which case, I'll watch the last 5 minutes.

Conan is just plain weird to me. I never liked Leno. I still miss Johnny Carson.

Ferguson is silly. I tried watching him but he never makes me laugh.

I love Letterman. I've never watched Kimmel. When Letterman leaves,
that's the end of late night TV for me. I'll start going to bed earlier.

I just don't get this new generation of comedy. Yes, I'm older than most of you.
I still remember when Carson took over from Jack Paar.

I like Jackie Mason and Rodriguez. I love Cheech and Chong. I know you can't have
a comedian as host. But humorous would be good. Or maybe I should just go to bed
early.

Ferguson would be my choice of the three. Although Conan does have the Mule on so he gets bonus points but not enough.

I prefer TopDroog's Fergie out of all of them and I am not even that crazy about her but that pic sure looks better than them.

Tie between O'Brien and Ferguson. Ferguson is funnier, but O'Brien has had the original Mule and the Derek Trucks Band as musical guests. I think they are both very funny and the fact that they are on at the same time is probably the best possible justification for getting Tivo.

Give me Letterman. That show is great. So far beyond the others its ridiculous.

It still amazes me that the Conon one has a job in show buisiness. The guy is simply not funny. Its stunning he could possibly be a success in show buisiness.

The only thing I know of that is as bad as he is is the "Red Eye" group on late on Fox. That show is unbelievably bad. Just horrid.

Letterman blows 'em all away. A supremely cool show.

All this is of course JUST MY OPINION of course.

Me too! I've a couple of those DVD compilations of his. I pull em out every once in a while. Great stuff from those years.

Its never been the same after he retired.

And Letterman rocks in a big way.

Craig Ferguson cracks me up, so he wins in this 3-way choice thread. I like Dave over Jay, but his show itself seems a little low budget in comparison. That is, I like the Tonight Show writers better, but Dave's delivery is better.
