Might I add, it even has a cut with Duane and King Curtis doing a christmas song on it!

Let's get to that first ...

A Charlie Brown Christmas, everyone loves Vince Gualardi's music from the Christmas special.

I have a copy of this. I also like the Blind Boys of Alabama, Go Tell It on the Mountain.

THE BEATLES CHRISTMAS ALBUM, which was a fan-club only release, is far and away the best of its kind. It is a compliation of the annual Beatles christmas messages that were released to the fan club from 1963 to 1969. Whereas the first few messages were rather simple, they progressively became more complex, experimental and psychedelic. Some of the later ones are quite weird. By the final message, the Beatles were recording their parts separately.

Haven't listened to this in a while and I do remember Tiny Tim making a guest appearance one year, ukelele and all. Yoko comes in in the final message.

I like the Very Special Christmas CD's - believe I have most of the series and the proceeds fund Special Olympics. Also love the old Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole Christmas albums and love Harry Connick Jr.

My wife just dragged out the whole basket of Christmas CDs AND cassettes she expects me to play through the holidays PLUS we have two radio stations that have been playing that bilge since the beginning of November. She loves it. I want to listen to the new Lotus and the download of the 'Mule show I saw last week.

I have this too, thanks to the kindness of Bro. Billastro -- a good one -- this dates me woefully but my favorite Christmas album is The Last Month Of The Year, by the Kingston Trio -- Jimmy Smith's Christmas CD is also very good
