Ever noticed how they sound like a pair of sneakers in a clothes dryer?

Nah, it clogs up the lint screen too much when you do that!

I assume cat lovers (and poor English grammar fans) have seen http://icanhascheezburger.com/ . It's pretty entertaining.

I never was a fan of cats as pets, but that changed 10 and 1/2 years ago. I was over at a friends house, and his black cat had a litter of 5 black kittens. I was going thru divorce at the time, and we worked out of his home every day. I watched one of the kittens grow over 6 weeks, and everytime I came in the door it ran up to greet me. When I would sit down, she would always jump into my lap. The other kittens left me alone except this one. I became attached to an animal that I really wasn't fond of. I ended up taking her home. For over 10 years I had Pepper greet me when I came home, leave me alone when I was in a bad mood, and just grew to love her personality. Last week I could tell she wasn't feeling well, but was eating, drinking, and staying real close to me. I had a bed she rarely used, but put her in it last Thursday by my bed. I really didn't think she needed to see a vet because I thought it was a flu, cold, or something that would go away . She stayed in the bed until she ate, or used the litter box. Friday I went in and was petting her, and she was purring, and wanting the attention she always got from my sons, and me. I got a call at work Friday night from my son telling me Pepper had passed away. He was in tears. I struggled to play music that night. It has been a tough week since both of my sons had grown up with her. Saturday my oldest son came down from college, and the 3 of us buried her. He wanted to be part of our goodbyes. I loved that cat, and was happy to have her as part of our family. This week I grieve with BDOB on the loss of a family member.

Sorry to hear about Pepper, Kevin. Sounds like you 2 had a good round together...I know you must miss having her meet you at the door. Bless the pets that love us so...

It's manly to advocate violence against cats when ever someone mentions them, right?
